2008 Whitehall Lane Napa Valley Merlot 750ml

This smooth as silk Merlot delivers richness that is hallmark Whitehall Lane. The aromas of ripe plum, blackberry and violet are immediately engaging and expand to flavors of plum, berry, dried cherries and sweet vanilla. It is beautifully balanced gaining complexity from the Syrah and structure from Cabernet Sauvignon. Its finish is long with a lingering hint of toasty oak. While enjoyable now, this wine will continue its evolution through 2015.
