Quick Overview

The 2009 Lucia Syrah, Garys’ Vineyard, is deep garnet in color. Its beautiful aromas leap out of the glass and display a mélange of boysenberry, sage, dried lavender, rose petal, stone fruit and red peppercorn. On the palate, the wine is very focused, following a tight core of soft tannins and firm acidity that evolves to a gentle finish. The Syrah opens up even more with decanting or aeration in the glass. Drink now through 2020.
