Some of the holdings of this estate go back to the original Sebastian Alois Prüm (1794 - 1871) estate, that was later divided into 7 properties (JJ Prüm is among those). Dr. F. Weins-Prüm married the heiress of one of the parts and their daughter Marianne married Mr. Selbach. Today their son, Bert Selbach shows his ability to make world class wines as a one man operation.
