WINE SPECTATOR REVIEW: Intense aromas of wild blackberries, with hints of minerals and wet earth. Full-bodied, with soft and round tannins and plenty of pretty fruit flavors. Delicious and soft already.
The appearance is ruby red, tending to garnet red with ageing. The bouquet is penetrating, very full and varied, reminiscent of wild berries. Flavor of dry, warm, full-bodied, harmonious, delicate and austere at the same time, persistent. A great food pairing can be roasts, grilled, spit-roast or braised meats, game, ripe cheeses.
