Aromas of blackberry, plum, dark chocolate and toasty spice on a background of floral roses. The wine displays incredible balance of firm tannins for aging, lush fruit, complexity and structure to cellar for 10 years or to enjoy upon release. The 2001 vintage produced an excellent finished wine with loads of layers, density and texture without the domination of big tannins. Best from 2005 to 2015.
