To the taste, Barturot offers a body that is hearty and athletic, yet gentle and soft. The lively structure is well supported by a just the right tannin content. The acidity is pleasant, as is the alcoholic swetness. In a symphony of fruity aromas, wild berries again take centre stage to create a rare crescendo that ends in a very long, soft finale. Intensely satisfying to the taste buds, this wine of great elegance and noble bearing proves a theory held by Beppe, who has shown that Dolcetto can be as great as any of the finest classic red wines made in Italy.
