ROBERT PARKER RATING: 90
ROBERT PARKER REVIEW: The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley is a blend of fruit from Champoux, Klipsun, and Ciel du Cheval vineyards. Dark ruby-colored, it sports an enticing nose of spice box, cassis, black currant, incense, and tobacco. Elegant on the palate, it has a smooth texture, excellent depth, and enough ripe tannin to blossom for several more years. Drink it from 2013 to 2023
STEVE TANZAR RATING: 90
STEVE TANZAR REVIEW: Very ripe aromas of currant and spicy oak. Supple, broad and classically dry, with pliant dark berry flavors complemented by sexy oak and framed by a firm edge of acidity. This outperformer includes a good percentage of fruit from Klipsun, Ciel du Cheval and Champoux vineyards.
WINE SPECTATOR RATING: 92
WINE SPECTATOR REVIEW: Chunky and chewy, with a stylish core of red berry, red currant and cherry fruit poking through a layer of prickly tannins. Needs time to soften, but this should get there. The finish just doesn't quit. Best after 2012.
A blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 1% Malbec. This supple, complex Cabernet is overflowing with ripe currant, blackberry, chocolate and warm vanilla notes in the nose. On the palate, the wine lingers with a long, supple finish.
