ROBERT PARKER RATING: 90
ROBERT PARKER REVIEW: Made from Dijon clones, the deeper, more saturated ruby-colored 2007 Pinot Noir Goodin Vineyard exhibits tighter, more intense aromatics of red and black fruits, particularly cherries, raspberries, and currants. Youthful and pure with plenty of stuffing, it will benefit from another year of bottle age, and is far less evolved than the Frattey Shams cuvee from Anderson Valley. Cellar it for a year and enjoy it over the following 6-7 years.
WINE ENTHUSIAST RATING: 94
WINE SPECTATOR RATING: 93
WINE SPECTATOR REVIEW: Spicy, with a dusty berry and fresh earth edge to the dried cherry and wild berry fruit. Full-bodied, complex, tight and young, but aimed in the right direction.
This exceptional Pinot Noir is a darker-hued Sonoma Coast interpretation with complexity in its power. Lots of roasted coffee and black fruit, with a spicy cola tinge and rich plushness. It has a dusty berry and fresh earth edge to the dried cherry and wild berry fruit. Full-bodied, complex. Smooth texture and excellent balance. A pure delight to drink now or store in your cellar.
