The 2007 Amber Knolls Cabernet raises the bar for wines made from the Red Hills Appellation of California. This wine posses extraordinary power and depth of fruit that combine to create a wine of monumental richness while maintaining a wonderful seamless finish resembling some of Napa’s finest Cabernets. This wine showcases wonderful notes of blueberry and fresh ripe cherries interwoven with subtle graphite and toasty oak. It is incredibly fragrant and beautifully concentrated, all the while maintaining great acidity and a wonderful long finish. This wine is certainly approachable now and should age beautifully.
