ROBERT PARKER REVIEW: From their estate vineyards, the 2008 Chardonnay Sleepy Hollow Vineyard has a beautiful nose of honeysuckle, tropical fruit, and other assorted floral notes. Light straw-colored, it possesses full-bodied richness, good acidity, and some subtle underlying minerality. This is a beautiful Chardonnay to drink over the next 3-4 years.
The flagship and renowned Chardonnay which is the quintessential expression of the wineries Sleepy Hollow Estate located in the Santa Lucia Highlands of California. Barrel aged 12 months in French Oak, 30% new. Excellent food wine as it is full bodied, smooth balance, with delicious notes of tangerine, grapefruit, white peach, and toasted almond.
