Winery Notes- The 2015 Gimonnet Special Club is a fantastic vintage of a consistently great wine. Coming off the heels of the 2014 release, Didier Gimonnet skipped 2013 for the Club wines, it’s a cooler, leaner style with intense minerality. The juicy citrus and tart apple surround a chalky, saline core. Tasting it now the wine is pleasing and fairly expressive but overall more serious, structured and a bit reserved and with time the 2015 Club will blossom into an even more delicious and impressive wine.
