2019 Laird Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml
SKU #5063069
Winery Notes- The Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from our favorite vineyards: Flat Rock, Dry Creek, and Linda Vista. The blending of these vineyards creates a wine that offers bright acid, robust dark fruit and firm, elegant tannins. A touch of Malbec was added to enhance the depth and structure of this wine, resulting in a wine that is fruity, delightfully balanced, and approachable.
The color of a garnet gemstone with delicious aromas of raspberry jam, brown sugar, and red licorice. Flavors of roasted coconut, fresh blackberry, and plum are accompanied by a smooth structure with sturdy tannins and juicy acidity. Drink now through 2029

JAMES SUCKLING REVIEW: Aromas of fresh mint, pine and blackcurrant. Full-bodied with velvety tannins. Iodine and bark on the palate, with a solid core of black fruit. Nicely concentrated. Best after 2025.
ROBERT PARKER REVIEW: All estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Laird's 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is a reasonable value in the overpriced world of Napa Valley. Aged in a fair bit of new French oak, it offers up scents of cedar, dark chocolate, plum and black cherry. It's full-bodied and a bit more tannic than Jillian's Blend but still open-knit, approachable and easy to drink, with a long, velvety finish.
WINE SPECTATOR REVIEW: A juicy, ripe and packed style, with a core of dark currant and boysenberry preserves flanked by singed vanilla and black licorice. Ends with toasty oomph, but with good underlying energy as well. Drink now through 2034.
