2020 Walter Hansel Cuvée Alyce Russian River Valley Chardonnay 750ml

Winery Notes- The 2020 Vintage yielded the smallest crop in the history of Walter Hansel Winery. The rule for small crops is they usually yield great flavors and depth as the skins are thicker and are in a greater proportion to the juice. After tasting through our 2020’s, I can attest that they are excellent wines that just keep improving. The Chardonnays are fresher than some vintages because of the acidity levels, and due to the fact, I used a very low percentage of new oak. The Pinot Noirs have great color and acid due to the small crop and much more fruit because of the low new oak treatment.
