Winery Notes- This Napa Valley Cabernet is a wonderful expression of the classic Bordeaux varietal as well as the terroir of the Napa Valley. The nose exhibits complex fruit aromas of plum, blackberry and a hint of strawberry, combined with brown sugar and forest floor. The aromas carry through to the palate of blackberry, dark chocolate and cocoa powder. Medium rich tannins are present with a long velvety finish.

WINE SPECTATOR REVIEW: A solid version, with plum pâte de fruit, black cherry reduction and boysenberry paste flavors that form the core. The frankly toasty finish has nice cut, flanked by apple wood and licorice root notes. Best from 2025 through 2037. 3,000 cases made.
