Winery Notes- The deep garnet color is followed by pronounced aromas of blackberry, sweet cranberry, and chocolate covered cherries. On the front of the palate, you'll find juicy acidity reminiscent of ripe strawberries and red currant with concentrated chewy tannins mid-palate and notes of vanilla and black pepper spice on the finish. WINE SPECTATOR REVIEW: A lush, flattering style, with warmed cassis, fresh açaí berry and boysenberry pâte de fruit notes pressed together by bittersweet cocoa–accented toast. Dark and winey through the finish, with a streak of tar underneath that gives the lush fruit a solid grounding. Best from 2025 through 2037. 1,400 cases made.
