Intense, fruity and aromatic, Ruinart Rosé owes its sensual elegance to the marriage of Chardonnay (45%), mainly from the Chardonnay Premiers Crus of the Côte des Blancs, and Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne, made into red wine. The nose is fresh and subtle, ripe with cherry and freshly picked red berries, followed by a splash of flowers and spicy notes On the palate, the wine is silky and delicately fleshy.

VINOUS REVIEW: Light orange. Sharply focused red berry and tangerine scents are complicated by suggestions of allspice and cinnamon, with a hint of smokiness in the background. Sappy and minerally on the palate, offering fresh strawberry and blood orange flavors lifted by juicy acidity. Packs a serious punch but carries no excess weight and finishes stony and very long, with echoing red berry character.

The color of the wine is a transparent wild-strawberry pink and the flavors are tight and brisk, like crunchy-fresh fraises des bois with a slightly deeper raspberry tone. A festive wine.
WINE SPECTATOR REVIEW: This offers all the trim sleekness of a well-built racing sailboat, while the flavors unfurl on the palate like a full spinnaker sail. Macerated raspberry and poached apricot fruit is underscored by smoke and toast notes, and pleasing hints of crystallized honey, tangerine zest and dried thyme echo on the mouthwatering finish.
