Campo Azul 1940 Reposado Tequila
The beginning of this legacy is born from the red Earth of Jesus Maria, in the highlands of Jalisco, among abundant fields of blue agave and the vision on Don Ricardo Lopez, who thanks to his passion for work and dedication from many years, has made Casa Campo Azul a reference in the art of making tequila of the highest quality. 1940 is a very important year for us. It was the year of the birth of our founder, Don Ricardo Lopez, who decided to venture into the world of tequila, inheriting all of his father’s knowledge about the growing and caring of agave azul in his hometown Jesus Maria, Jalisco in the highland’s region. The process begins when new plants (plant shoots) born from the mother plant are extracted and planted in a new field where they will grow and develop for 7-8 years before finally being harvested. The agave is cooked in an ancestral type of masonry oven for 30 hours in direct contact with steam and continues cooking for another 24 hours for clow cooking down and rest on the pina. This slow cooking of the agave heads ensures a uniform cooking of the plant that gives the beverage more complex aromas and flavors. From there the agave is milled and fermented for 78 hours until the fermentation reaches the desired richness, then double distilled in stainless steel stills. The Reposado is aged in American white oak barrels in our cellars.$44.901 -

LALO Blanco Tequila
Distillery Notes- Each bottle of LALO is 100% pure. We distill only twice to maintain the integrity of our agave, and add no flavors or additives. With LALO, our ingredients are only agave, yeast and water to honor the complex essence of agave. LALO Tequila derives its name from Eduardo "Lalo" Gonzalez, the father of its founder. Don Julio Gonzalez, Lalo's grandfather, affectionately bestowed this nickname upon him. Initially crafted as a private label to be shared solely among friends and family, LALO now represents a legacy of exceptional tequila production that has spanned several decades. The tequila is made using only fully matured highland agave, which is steamed slowly and rested for several days prior to fermentation. During fermentation, only agave, champagne yeast, and water are added, and a meticulous distillation process follows. LALO is exclusively sold as a blanco, which is intended to capture the true essence of the agave plant and present it in the manner its master intended. However, the brand is not reserved solely for special occasions; instead, it is designed to elevate any moment. Domaine du Manoir de Montreuil Reserve Calvados Pay d'Auge
Distillery Notes- Giard is one of the grand old names in the Pays d'Auge appellation of Calvados. The Giards have traced their family's history back 12 generations to the 1700's. When Roger Giard, now in his nineties, retired he handed the reigns of the Domaine du Manoir de Montreuil to his son Patrice, who now directs the property along with his wife Michelle. In 2006, I spent some time in front of the still with Patrice Giard while he distilled his year-old cider. We began tasting through a number of barrels together, and an idea was born to combine a number of barrels into the best possible young blend. The result, called Réserve, is comprised of 30% barrel #38 (distilled in 1998), 40% barrel #32 (distilled in 2000) and 30% barrel #4 (distilled in 2003), creating a blend whose average age is y years old. The initial release was a mere 480 bottles. It shows forthcoming apple flavors, along with a touch of vanilla, smoke, spice and subtle hint of beeswax.$44.90Out of StockOut of Stock -

Kubler Swiss Absinthe (1 Liter)
Rated The #1 Absinthe By The New York Times Distillery Notes- Kubler is distilled in the Val-de-Travers, from a local harvest of sumptuous herbs and purest alcohol, utilizing a recipe dating back to 1863. The style of this Absinthe is La Bleue; it is clear, has no added sugar and it is delicious. Kubler is nicely aromatic with light but generous floral notes that are beautifully released when water is added which results in a gorgeous white louche. On the palate you find the usual suspects, among we notice wormwood, fennel, coriander, and anise. While they are finishing, the flavors spread and resolve with light mint notes into a complex wormwood bitterness-- splendid. This absinthe is made with such finesse I found no us for sugar. Try this as an aperitif, an afternoon fortifier, with creamy desserts, as a base to many cocktails, or to add depth to any cocktail.
