Winery Notes- The calling card of Valmaggiore is the haunting Nebbiolo aromas, and this vintage is a textbook example of the Roero's potential. Our Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is crafted in an approachable, fruit-forward style that is typical of the varietal and expressive of its terroir. The eye-catching clear white gold color is followed by tantalizing aromas of lemongrass, key lime pie, guava, and lilikoi. The palate is a continuation of the aromatic journey with flavors reminiscent of Thai basil, grapefruit, white peach, and elderflower. 2021 Arietta Quartet Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Winery Notes- The 2021 Quartet wonderfully captures the vibrancy and depth of the 2021 vintage, a year of very little rainfall and warm California summer days. The wine is a blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot, and it exhibits the full range of aromas and flavors that the blend implies. The Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the cooler climes of Napa Valley, drives the profile of the wine, with dark, savory tones of graphite, sage, mocha, and mint underpinning a core of black and red fruits. The Cabernet Franc provides the perfect level of spice and aromatic interest, showing notes of lavender, cardomom, and subtle fennel seed. Merlot adds a juicy blue-fruited element, and a small dose of Petit Verdot grounds the wine with earth tones and a hint of wood extract. As with most vintages of Quartet, the wine overdelivers, while presenting a balanced and generous interpretation of Napa Valley. Twenty months of barrel aging, and bottling without fining or filtration, help preserve the nuance and fruit expression of the wine. Less than a quarter of the French oak barrels used for aging were new, so the fruit character really does shine, while there is ample structure to let the wine age for easily 15+ years to come. It will only gain in interest and hedonistic potential. -

Winery Notes- It takes a tight rein to ride a headstrong young horse that loves to run. So it was with guiding Brick House Pinot Noir fermentations in 2021. All the sunshine and the warmth of the vintage packed every grape with more than enough of what it takes to make great wine. Thus, an exercise in restraint: picking early to preserve acidity, gentle pump overs instead of rigorous punch downs and then a careful selection of barrels to achieve a “Select” bottling of near perfect balance. Winery Notes- The family has plots of vines in the best places in the village: “ Les Hauts Vaudayants, Les Doyennes, Le Poteau, Le Mont des Tours, Les Cercets, Les Chantereines” ; they are the foundations of the Champagnes and Bouzy Rouge produced by the House. The vineyard of Chigny-les-Roses, 1er cru, is mostly planted with Pinots Meuniers, it belongs to the in-laws of Jean-René BRICE. The plots are spread over two localities: "Dessus Le Mont" and "Les Coutures" , they are also ideally located in the heart of this terroir. The Brice family also owns a 2.50 hectare vineyard in Loches-sur-Ource, in the Aube department, at the southern limit of the Champagne appellation. This plot was purchased by Jean-Paul BRICE, father of the current operators, in 1980. It is planted with two hectares of Pinots Noirs and fifty ares of Chardonnay.$59.90Out of Stock -
2018 Giodo La Quinta Toscana
Winery Notes- Sangiovese also goes to produce this younger interpretation that matures twelve months in 500- and 1,200-litre oak casks. This expression of Sangiovese comes from the fifth vineyard planted in Montalcino, hence its name – in Italian “La Quinta” means the fifth – is remarkably refined. The oak has less impact than on the Brunello, allowing full sway to appealing aromas and crisp red berry fruit. Winery Notes- Santenay is the most southerly village in the Côte de Beaune and produces both red and white wines. The red wines from Santenay are reputed to be tannic and well-structured. Santenay is said to have the soul of Volnay and the body of Pommard. Our Santenay Rouge 2019 presents a ruby hue. Its nose is delicate mixing notes of small red fruits, licorice and nutmeg.
