2019 Cerbaiona M.L Fioretti P.V.D. Rosso Toscana
Winery Notes- In 1977 a new owner, Diego Molinari, arrived from Rome, and neighboring growers were hired to replant and expand the vineyard. In 1981, Cerbaiona began to produce for commerce, and four years later labeled the wine from that vintage as Brunello di Montalcino. Nearly instantly, critics noted what the locals had known long before: The small hillside of Cerbaiona, with its galestro (limestone shale) soils infused with sand, is a unique patch of land in Montalcino. Almost by doing nothing, you can make an exceptional wine at Cerbaiona. Its vineyard location is that special and unique. In the several decades that followed, Cerbaiona took on the status of a cult Brunello, its small production difficult to find and the characteristics of this wine immediately identifiable with this particular vineyard site. Indeed, Cerbaiona is distinctly different than other Brunello and has the inimitable, individual signs of a cru vineyard; a wine for which being from Cerbaiona is its very essence.$64.906 -

2019 Keenan Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is composed primarily of grapes grown on Keenan’s Spring Mountain District Estate; the remainder of the fruit was harvested from Pope Valley, a grape growing region located in the eastern portion of Napa. Keenan’s Estate Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were harvested beginning on September 21st with the final lot being picked on October 10th. After harvest, the fruit clusters were de-stemmed, then fermented for ten to fourteen days. The wine was barrel aged in thirty-three percent new French and American oak for twenty months. The blend was assembled just before bottling. The Estate grown Cabernet imparts amazing concentration and remarkable structure, while the portion of Cabernet harvested from Pope Valley adds complex aromas and a balanced mid-palate. -

2019 Casa Castillo Las Gravas Jumilla
Not surprisingly, Las Gravas comes from a profoundly rocky, single vineyard of the same name. You’d also be hard-pressed to call it soil since before you can get to anything resembling dirt, you have to go through a foot of stones. Here Jose Maria and his father planted Monastrell, and Garnacha, each of which contributes to the final blend of Las Gravas. While the other cuvées from the estate show the unique expression of site and variety, Las Gravas is a broader lesson in terroir and the varieties that thrive here. Las Gravas is harvested by hand and fermented in underground stone tanks with manual pigeage. Once primary fermentation is complete, the wine is aged in 5000L foudres and 500L French oak demi-muids for 16 months. In most vintages, only 20% of the barrels are new.Rating(s)$39.9020 -
2019 Niner Estates Bootjack Paso Robles Red Blend (Was $35)
Winery Notes- At its core this blend features three varietals each contributing a different element to the blend. Cabernet Franc provides a structural foundation (dry tannin), Cabernet for it’s complex red fruit and finally Malbec adds a mouthwatering juicy quality.Rating(s)$21.9023 -
2019 Castello del Terriccio Tassinaia Toscana
Winery Notes- Tassinaia is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in almost equal percentages. It is named after the farmhouse on one of the hills called “Le Tassinaie”, which means “the place of the stones”. After 16 months aging in tonneaux of French oak, the varieties are blended and allowed to age in bottle for at least 12 months before sale. The two green lines on the label represent the green fields in springtime.$39.903 -
2019 Terroir al Limit Histórico Priorat
Winery Notes- Unlike the site specific wines of Terroir al Límit, Terroir Històric is devoted to expressing the complex character of the whole of Priorat in two colors: white and red. While the project launched in 2015 is a remarkable incubator for new plantings from the clay and schist soils of Montsant, it is also a liquid homage, utilizing the négocient tradition of the past to secure a sustainable future. Terroir Històric encourages young farmers to not only return to family vineyards in the region’s 9 villages in and around Torroja, but also transition these family vines to organic farming. Històric Negre is a blend of Priorat’s traditional red varieties: Grenche Noir (75 %) and Cariñena (25 %). Harnessing the simple, honest power of great fruit means a truly hands off approach in the cellar: hand harvest, whole cluster naturally ferment, and transfer to inox tank for six months. No extraction, no oak. Crisp red fruit aromas of pomegranate and hibiscus, fennel and blackberry are underscored with the savory accents of smoky garrigue. Fine-grained tannins shape the balanced palate into one both juicy and mouthwatering. Wine at both its most basic, and most beautiful. Priorat unplugged.$29.909 -
2019 Paloma Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a lush wine with a big mouthfeel, displaying beautiful purity of fruit. Consistent notes of dark cherry and plum combine with hints of black pepper and olive. The finish is long and silky. This wine will beautifully complement a hearty beef dish. Likely to evolve slowly, enjoy this beauty over many years. The 2019 Paloma Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% pure Cabernet. It is fermented in French oak—33% new—for 18 months before being bottled in the spring, then bottle-aged for an additional 24 months before release. 462 cases of the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon were produced.$83.906 -
2019 Fossacolle Brunello di Montalcino
Winery Notes- Our Brunello di Montalcino is produced with Sangiovese Grosso grapes, rigorously selected for quality and hand-picked into small boxes. Following a gentle pressing, the must undergoes a pre-fermentation at low temperatures in steel and concrete fermenters. The alcoholic fermentation takes place rigorously under temperature controlled conditions with an extended maceration and frequent pump-overs, punch-downs and delestages to optimize the extraction from the skins. The malolactic fermentation is completed in concrete vats before an ageing phase of at least 24 months in wood. Subsequently the wine matures for another year in glass-lined cement vats. A mere static settling, but no filtration, complete the wine making process before its final bottling and at least 4 months later release into the market.Rating(s)$69.9011 -
