2020 Bibi Graetz Testamatta Toscana Rosso
Winery Notes- Testamatta - “crazy-head” in Italian - is the best word to describe Bibi Graetz: a positive, creative and passionate person. Testamatta wine expresses the purity, minerality and transparency of Sangiovese from old vines on the top of the hills characterized by soils rich of stones. A Supertuscan made with 100% Sangiovese, result of the combination of tradition and creativity.$64.9018 -
2020 Fulldraw Vineyard Chopping Block Paso Robles Rhône Blend (Was $90)
Winery Notes- The 2020 vintage was very similar to 2018 in the sense that we had a very even growing season. There were not many drastic highs or lows in temperature, the weather during fruit set was ideal, and we were able to keep the fruit on the vine with great canopy growth until optimal phenolic ripeness was reached. The only downside of this vintage, we barely had any Mourvedre off the property (in a good way!). The fruit was incredibly beautiful and concentrated, we just didn't have much of it.$44.9024+ -
2020 Cordero di Montezemolo Monfalletto Barolo
Winery Notes- The company’s flag, its symbolic wine, the label that more than any other embodies the history, heritage, culture and essence that Cordero di Montezemolo aims to express through its work. A Barolo made from the unification of all the plots cultivated in La Morra, minus the small quantities of grapes selected from parts of them for the production of Barolo Gattera and Barolo Riserva Gorette. Barolo Monfalletto is our biggest production, thanks to the large extension of vineyards from which it originates, which cover an area of about 14 hectares. Each part of the hill is harvested separately, choosing the best moment for each one. Vinification and ageing in wood follow individual paths and the final blending of all the lots takes place only at the time of bottling. Its main characteristics are its pleasantness, delicacy and readiness to drink, making it a Barolo that can be enjoyed from an early age. Our history, our present, our future.$58.906 -

2020 Chateau de Rouanne Vinsobres
Château de Rouanne is a historic estate with a 12th century medieval castle, situated on a classified Roman site located in the southern Rhône Valley. The name of the estate comes from "Rugius", which is said to be the name of the original Roman owner. The estate totals 177 acres (72 hectares), including 153 acres (62 hectares) of vines. Château de Rouanne was purchased by Louis Barruol, owner and winemaker of Château de Saint Cosme, in May of 2019. Barruol sees enormous potential in Château de Rouanne, having worked with the previous owners for years as a source for some of his négociant wines. “It reminds me a lot of Saint Cosme when I took it over in 1992. It’s an unknown sleeping beauty waiting for a vigneron to truly love it.”$19.904 -

2020 Cerbaiona Grammatica Rosso Toscana
Winery Notes- In 1977 a new owner, Diego Molinari, arrived from Rome, and neighboring growers were hired to replant and expand the vineyard. In 1981, Cerbaiona began to produce for commerce, and four years later labeled the wine from that vintage as Brunello di Montalcino. Nearly instantly, critics noted what the locals had known long before: The small hillside of Cerbaiona, with its galestro (limestone shale) soils infused with sand, is a unique patch of land in Montalcino. Almost by doing nothing, you can make an exceptional wine at Cerbaiona. Its vineyard location is that special and unique. In the several decades that followed, Cerbaiona took on the status of a cult Brunello, its small production difficult to find and the characteristics of this wine immediately identifiable with this particular vineyard site. Indeed, Cerbaiona is distinctly different than other Brunello and has the inimitable, individual signs of a cru vineyard; a wine for which being from Cerbaiona is its very essence.$34.9018 -

2020 Sella & Mosca Cannonau Riserva
Winery Notes- Cannonau is the oenological nexus of Sardinia, and perhaps of the entire mediterranean basin. Sella & Mosca lavishes extra care on it, cultivating it in the warm and sandy seaside vineyards and the harsh and rocky inland soils of the hills. It is fermented and macerated on the skins and aged in oak barrels for at least 6 months, then cellared for 2 years, which favors the development of its classic mediterranean characters. The ruby red color with garnet hues, translucent and brilliant, announces bright, mature and refined aromas. The fresh scent of violet is perfectly integrated by notes of jam, plums, blackcurrants and oriental spices. The palate is solid, well structured and warm in its embrace, but always well-balanced, thanks also to fresh bursts of balsam and medicinal herbs and berries. The aftertaste presents toasted hints before returning to the spice route.$17.9011 -
