2021 Joseph Phelps Freestone Vineyards Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

2021 Schramsberg North Coast Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine
Winery Notes- Schramsberg Brut Rosé is fruitful, complex and dry, making it both versatile with food and delicious by itself as an apéritif. The character of the wine is most strongly influenced by bright, flavorful Pinot Noir grown along Californias North coast from southern Mendocino County to northern Marin County. A few small lots of Pinot Noir are fermented in contact with their skins to add depth and subtle color to this vibrant sparkling wine. Chardonnay gives spice, structure and length on the palate. Hand picking, careful handling and gentle pressing produce a wine of delicacy, aromatic purity and depth. Following the fall harvest and fermentation of the base wines, extensive tasting trials are carried out in the spring to create a polished blend reflective of the vintage. The finished blend undergoes a second fermentation in bottle before aging on its yeast lees for about two years, just enough to achieve refined effervescence and toastiness without diminishing its refreshing, vibrant appeal. Enjoy this rich, delicious sparkler on almost any occasion: at your favorite restaurant, a special dinner at home, at a beach picnic or a backyard barbecue. A very versatile wine; try it with sushi, salmon, rock shrimp, roast chicken, BBQ ribs, caprese and Panzanella salads, red berry tarts, and an array of cheeses, charcuterie, nuts and fresh fruit. The 2020 growing season was preceded by a dry, mild winter. Bud break began earlier than normal and crop yields were light, which led to an early harvest start. Cool and moderate summer conditions gave way to heat spells and forest fires through August and September. Our team worked through these challenges to produce a delicious array of sparkling wines.$38.9024 -

2021 Niner Estates Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- 2021 was a benchmark vintage for Cabernet in Paso Robles. The long, cool growing season was ideal for our Bordeaux grapes and allowed them to slowly ripen, creating complex flavors and wines built to age. The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon was aged 21 months in French Oak barrels and is one that you’ll want for your collection. It is an elegant wine with a balance of dark fruit flavors and herbaceous notes with lush tannins.$39.9017 -
2021 Hitching Post Highliner Sideways 20 Year Anniversary Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- We selected our flagship wine for this commemorative bottling. “Highliner” is an assemblage of only the best lots of all the different Pinot Noirs we make each vintage. Consequently, it earns consistent high praise. The fruit for 2021 Highliner came from 5 different vineyards with the majority sourced from the iconic Sanford & Benedict Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills appellation. All vineyards and clones are harvested and produced separately using traditional burgundian techniques. 20 months barrel age in French oak along with masterful blending, brought all the elements to a harmonious whole. "We enjoy making Highliner the most of any of our wines,” states Frank Ostini. “Utilizing the different flavors and textures from all of these vineyards creates a complex and balanced wine that plays to the many keys of Pinot Noir. The 2021 vintage is the best vintage of the 2000s to date.” The moniker “Highliner” refers to the best fishermen in the fleet and references Gray Hartley’s nearly 30 years in the fishing industry prior to winemaking. Highliner Pinot Noir is meant to be the “best of the fleet” of Hitching Post wines.Rating(s)$33.9016 -
2021 Hirsch San Andreas Fault Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The San Andreas Fault is the flagship wine from Hirsch, and the wine that represents the summation of our complex vineyard. The 2021 is overflowing with fresh red cherries with hints of ripe peach, earth, wet stone, anise and mint. The palate is juicy and concentrated, with a long finish. There is a density of fruit here that marks this as one of the finest vintages ever produced of this wine.$69.902 -
2021 Sojourn Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Winery Notes- The 2021 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay showcases three of the top vineyards in the Sonoma Coast – Sangiacomo, Durell, and Gap’s Crown – with the goal of creating a cuvée that illustrates the varietal’s exceptional character across the Sonoma Coast appellation. Yields were light in 2021 with the vines producing small clusters with tiny berries, resulting in concentrated wines of depth and balance. Each block was pressed whole cluster, fermented in 30% new French oak barrels and kept separate until their final blending. An expressive nose of stone fruit and apple leads to vibrant flavors and lively acidity.Rating(s)$32.9021 -

2021 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe La Crau Châteauneuf-du-Pape
What makes the 2021 La Crau so singular and special is that the more classic vintage conditions complemented the Bruniers’ pursuit of an exquisite and refined Châteauneuf. Full of finesse and alluring notes of black cherry, eucalyptus, mint, and garrigue, this is one of the most charming young La Craus I’ve tasted in recent years. Of course, it’s still Grenache grown under a southern sun and in a soil packed full with radiating rounded river stones, so there’s plenty of structure, flavor, and succulence. But if you welcome a soulful country rouge with a little more elegance and poise than usual, you’re in for a treat.$99.9010 -
2021 Unwritten Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- Our 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of two prestigious vineyards from two distinct appellations: The Las Posadas Vineyard near the top of Howell Mountain and the Oakville Station vineyard in the heart of the valley, (adjacent to To Kalon in Oakville}Rating(s)$198.901 -
2021 Sullivan Family Coeur De Vigne Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
#75 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2024 Winery Notes- The 2021 vintage set the stage for wines that promised exceptional richness and enduring charm. Napa Valley encountered a parched winter extending into spring, with intermittent rains rejuvenating the vines. Despite a few sporadic heat spikes, the vines thrived in relatively mild and consistent temperatures, ensuring uniform fruit maturation. With yields reduced by 30%, the vines prioritized ripening only what they could. The outcome: a vintage with diminished yields, offering petite, intensely flavored berries crafting wines of notable density, concentration, and vigor.

#37 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2024 Winery Notes- Alcoholic fermentation in small steel tanks under controlled temperature, maceration in steel for 10 days approximately; malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. Light ruby red color, ripe cherry and vanilla notes. Smooth and velvety tannins with a good persistence.
