2022 Peay West Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The 2022 bursts out of the glass with a beam of dark raspberry, pomegranate, orange zest, and black trumpet mushroom aromas. In addition to the fruit aromas, a little tea, sour cherry, brass, and bark frame the wine in the aftertaste and finishes with our hallmark fresh acidity making you salivate. The West Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is 81% Estate fruit and 19% fruit from our neighbor, Richardson Vineyard, who grows grapes for us and provides grazing sheep for weed control. The other wineries who buy fruit from this vineyard have already vineyard-designated their Richardson wines and charge up to 2x the price of our West Sonoma Coast Pinot. Just saying. The 2022 bursts out of the glass with a beam of dark raspberry, pomegranate, orange zest, and black trumpet mushroom aromas. Where the 2021 was more reserved in the nose the 2022 has more impact. The flavors are seamless on the palate and not at all disjointed despite its youthfulness. In addition to the fruit aromas above, a little tea, sour cherry, brass, and bark frame the wine in the aftertaste and finishes with our hallmark fresh acidity making you salivate. This is not a heavy or rich wine and has intensity and power without fat. I expect it will age as long as you desire. Serve with seared fish, meat, anything with a little caramelization.$49.9022 -

2022 Road 31 Napa Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Four plots across two vineyards contributed to this wine. From the Green Island, at the southern mouth of the Napa River, where the water spills into the San Pablo/San Francisco Bay, comes the prettiness of clone 115 and power of clone 667. Stanly Ranch, in Carneros just northwest across the Napa River from Green Island, provides clone 114 structure and robustness of clone 777. What a wine this 2021 Road 31 Napa Valley Pinot Noir is. Imagine Harry Potter, Gal Gadot, Elvis (the early days, not the donut-eating-sequin-wings years), and a 1962 Ferrari GTO all wrapped together in velour. Pull the cork and you may find yourself suddenly reciting Shakespearean sonnets from memory, understanding string theory, and feeling an inexplicable desire — and capability — to dance the tango like a blind Al Pacino. Winery Notes- This blend of the finest barrels of Roserock Pinot Noir is named for the fragrant “Zéphirine Drouhin” variety of thornless climbing rose, introduced in 1868. Fittingly, the dark-ruby Zéphirine Pinot Noir has an intoxicating perfume of roses, violets, strawberries, and cacao. 2022 Brewer-Clifton Machado Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Looking to secure a mirror-image sister ranch to our 3D Vineyard, we began working with the Machado family in the winter of 2008. Our 15 acre parcel on their land is located adjacent to Clos Pepe and immediately behind the Kessler-Haak Vineyard. The site is marked by a gorgeous rolling terrain with sandy loam soils. At Machado, the majority of the planting is dedicated to pinot noir with equal amounts of such selections as Pommard, Merry Edwards, Mount Eden, and 459. In addition to pinot noir, we also planted a small, two-acre plot in the sandiest portion of the field to the Sweeney Canyon selection of chardonnay.$84.9024+ -

2022 Failla Estate Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The Fort Ross-Seaview AVA is characterized by minimum elevations of 920 feet, (keeping us just above the fog line), and distances near to the ocean, keeping temperatures lower than average. Planted in 1997, our Estate Vineyard is organically dry-farmed and sits at 1000-1400 ft. Just 2.5 miles east of the Pacific Ocean, our 92-acre ranch has 11 acres under vine. We picked our first fruit from this vineyard in 1999 and have steadily increased production in the years since.$79.903 -
2022 Failla Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The Vineyards represented in this bottling are a stellar depiction of quality farming, mature vines, and the distinct terroir of cool climates that are graced with the soils, fog, and ocean influence that bring Pinot Noir to life. Roughly 25% of the grapes used in this bottling are estate grown and farmed. The Pinot Noir is pressed 30% whole cluster, with native yeast fermentation. It is aged for 8 months in 15% new French oak, and 85% neutral. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered. Aromatically the wine has a floral perfume, with notes of bright red fruits and hints of wild herbs. On the palate, the wine has juicy pomegranate seeds along with a structure of finesse and elegance.$34.9021 -

Winery Notes- The Lucia Pinot Noir Estate Cuvée represents the synergy that develops when three estate-farmed vineyards are blended and bottled as a singular wine. The 2022 vintage is comprised of 70% Pisoni Vineyards, 14% Garys’ Vineyard, and 16% Soberanes Vineyard. As the wine’s medium-ruby hue fills the glass, aromas of crushed strawberry, spiced plum, and underlaying hints of dark berry develop. The Pinot Noir transitions to the palate and shows savory notes of Asian spice, black tea, then gains volume with notes of plush red berries and subtle vanilla—from eleven months of aging in 45% new French oak barrels. 2022 Siduri Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The 2022 growing season in the Santa Lucia Highlands began with a slightly later than usual bud break, with a bloom period that was generally warm and dry, which promoted even fruit set. The “main event”, so to speak, was a prolonged heat wave that began on Labor Day Weekend and lasted for several days. Leaning upon lessons we’ve learned by being in the same vineyards over the past two decades in the Santa Lucia Highlands, we picked the fruit prior to any dehydration set in, promoting freshness and balance. The quality of the 2022 vintage wines from Santa Lucia Highlands are impressive – the signature acidity of SLH sails through the finish, balancing the weight and richness of the fruit. Harvest was fast and furious, with all the fruit coming in over a two week period – but the wines show excellent balance and seamlessness.$29.9015 -
