2021 Rhys Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay
Winery Notes- At Rhys Vineyards we aspire to make great Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah from some of California’s most unique and expressive vineyards. This pursuit has led us to search the state for exciting rocky soils that exist within the mountainous, cool, Coastal climate zone. Over the last 15 years we have developed seven estate vineyards, six in the Santa Cruz Mountains and one in Anderson Valley, each of which is capable of producing uniquely compelling, distinctive, soil driven wine.$39.9024 -
2016 López de Heredia Viña Gravonia Crianza Blanco Rioja
Winery Notes- As “natural” a wine as any hipster newcomer, this entirely traditional rendition of Viura (aka Macabeo) is aged for four years in the house-made American oak barrels, fined with egg-whites, racked twice annually, bottled unfiltered and left another 4-plus years before commercial release. The result is a pale wonder of insurgent aromatic glory, tranquil complexity and endless length. Drink it now or keep it 30 more years.$47.905 -

2021 Sojourn Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Winery Notes- The 2021 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay showcases three of the top vineyards in the Sonoma Coast – Sangiacomo, Durell, and Gap’s Crown – with the goal of creating a cuvée that illustrates the varietal’s exceptional character across the Sonoma Coast appellation. Yields were light in 2021 with the vines producing small clusters with tiny berries, resulting in concentrated wines of depth and balance. Each block was pressed whole cluster, fermented in 30% new French oak barrels and kept separate until their final blending. An expressive nose of stone fruit and apple leads to vibrant flavors and lively acidity.Rating(s)$32.9021 -

2022 Livio Felluga Pinot Grigio Friuli Colli Orientali
Winery Notes- Our Pinot Grigio vines, mainly Guyot-trained, have their roots in the Ponca soil (Cormòns flysch in technical terms), composed of marl and sandstone of Eocene origin stratified under the sea over the millennia, which gives our wines a unique tanginess and minerality. The harvest took place during the first half of September. The healthy and perfectly ripe grapes were hand-picked in small crates, to preserve the integrity of the fruit. After gentle destemming the fruit was left to macerate for a short period, then softly crushed, and the must obtained was clarified by decantation. Temperature-controlled fermentation followed in stainless steel vats. At the end of fermentation, the wine was kept on the lees for a few months to increase its complexity, creamy texture and suitability for ageing. Once bottled, it matured in temperature-controlled rooms.$27.9024
