2021 Beaulieu Vineyard Tapestry Reserve Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Winery Notes- 2021 produced some of the best fruit in recent years. Early rain, then almost no notable precipitation for the rest of the season, provided an ideal environment. The summer saw early and even ripening. Low yields created small berries with intense flavor. Harvest began early at the end of August. With optimal ripening, our winemakers could take their time bringing in the grapes. The wine has fantastic character with aromatic intensity and tremendous balance and structure that are equally lush and fruity. A tremendous year to experience the nuances and terroir distinction from around the valley.Rating(s) -
2023 Rombauer Napa-Sonoma Counties Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- Lifted and concentrated aromas of passion fruit, green melon, and hints of fresh-cut grass all dance on the nose. The palate is linear and intense, with similar flavors that are joined by notes of kiwi and Key lime. Each sip is framed with mouthwatering acidity and a burst of grapefruit that lifts the long finish. -
2021 Shea Wine Cellars Estate Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Our Estate Pinot Noir is the best representation of Shea Vineyard as a whole in a given vintage. The 2021 Estate Pinot Noir is lush and elegant with dark red fruit aromatics and baking spice notes. Perfectly balanced acidity and silky tannins lead to a lingering finish. This wine is a great representation of the 2021 growing season, which was long and warm without any of the weather events we sometimes worry about when farming grapes; a dream from start to finish. -
2022 Myriad Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- An early drinker and crowd pleaser, this blue and red fruit extravaganza is ready out the gate. Lush and bold on the mid palate with notes of clove spice and toasted almond and coconut. A slight ‘baby fat’ fruit sweetness will keep everyone coming back for more…and more. Drink while waiting for your single vineyard Cabernets to integrate. An exceptional QPR and competes with wines twice its price. Complete and pure with tremendous focus and presence. An intoxicating nose of blueberry pie, red raspberries and cardamom dash out the gate. Dark red & black fruits, full & vibrant flavors of cherry pie and some spice box/licorice mix in. The seamless transition from beginning to end showcases the powerful, silky, complex finish you’d expect from wines twice the price. It has everything you could want from a rich Napa Cabernet and is obviously well ahead of its time. -
2022 Aperture Soil Specific Clarksburg Chenin Blanc
Winery Notes- Our 2022 Chenin Blanc fruit is night-harvested from an old vine vineyard in the Clarksburg AVA on the Sacramento River. We lightly whole cluster press the fruit to a stainless steal tank where we let the juice chill at 50°F for two days to settle. On the third day, we clean-rack it to a smaller tank leaving the heavy sediment behind. We let the wine slowly start fermenting, keeping the temperature cool, below 56°F, to achieve freshness and preserve aromatics. The wine ferments in a mixture of vessels giving the wine a variety of textures from the stainless steel, cement, and neutral French oak. All lots are aged on the lees until blended together just prior to bottling. The wine is placed in our cold barrel room to keep the fermentation cool and slow, maintaining freshness and bright aromatics. As the wine slowly ferments for an additional 3 weeks in barrel, we top and stir each barrel weekly. The wine stays in those same barrels for 6 months on lees. -
2022 Caymus California Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- I feel this wine expresses the greatness of California and its hidden pockets where Cabernet can excel. The cold Pacific Ocean running the entire length of the state presents maritime influences – and with each small distance eastward the climate warms. Stony soils, south facing slopes and moderately warm conditions are the keys to producing dark, rich and good tasting Cabernet. This wine stems from excitement over California’s diverse vineyard land, often in lesser-known areas, that can produce exceptional Cabernet. We search for sites with climatic conditions, soils and topography ideally suited to Cabernet – places from Paso Robles to lesser-known areas in Lake, San Benito and Monterey Counties. With ripe fruit and luxurious tannins, this wine reveals the Caymus character, and is drinkable upon release or with age. -
2018 Beringer Private Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (Elsewhere $170)
Winery Notes- Deeply saturated in color with a rich depth and elegance, exhibiting a substantial backbone and structure, all hallmarks of this incredible 2018 vintage of Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, and will continue to reward after years of carful cellaring. Fresh, ripe berry notes of blackberry, black cherry, crème de cassis and dark plum all combine, offering a plush, juicy, mouthwatering character that is very approachable in its youth. Complex layers of wild bramble berry fruit, wild violets and notes of cocoa powder, dark chocolate, graphite and tobacco spice, from the well-integrated oak, seamlessly are interwoven with the full-bodied ripe tannins, supporting a firm structure with balanced acidity, leading to a long, persistent, textured finish. -
2021 Cast Blanc de Noirs Napa Valley Sparkling Wine
Winery Notes- Our 2021 Blanc de Noir has a beautiful golden yellow color with aromas of muddled raspberry, crème brulée, toasted hazelnuts, buttery pie crust and lemon chiffon. The palate is warm and inviting with butterscotch, honey, and some delicate citrus notes. The finish is long with a great balance of fruit and acidity. Delicious on its own but will be a great companion to hors d'oeuvres as well. -
2021 Chimney Rock Stags Leap District Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
#5 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2024 Winery Notes- Deep red with purple hue. This Cabernet is abundant with aromas of black cherry, mocha, with subtle hints of mint and floral. This Cabernet is graceful and elegant with black cherry flavors on the entry. On the palate, this wine is luscious in the midpalate, while the tannin structure and finish are supple and round. -
2021 Realm The Bard Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- The flagship of Realm’s portfolio, The Bard is the Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated Proprietary Blend we’ve made since 2003. We consider The Bard to be the most dynamic expression of Napa Valley: a blend of grapes from Coombsville to Calistoga, from the east to the west sides, from the hillsides to the valley floor. Dense, weighty, and concentrated, The Bard always punches above its weight, and with multiple dimensions coming together in harmony, there is more than meets the eye in this complex wine. Outstanding vineyards such as Beckstoffer To Kalon, Beckstoffer Bourn, Blair, Houyi, Larkmead, Realm SLD Estate, Farella, Orchard and Bettinelli Upper Range have all found a place in the wine. While the composition of The Bard varies from year to year, Cabernet Sauvignon typically comprises over 70% of the blend, joined by lesser percentages of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.Rating(s) -
2019 Vineyard 29 CRU Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- Deep red Bing cherries, black cassis, dried lavender, and chocolate covered espresso bean aromas lead to a fresh, fruit forward entry and a rich, concentrated mid palate. Structured, mouth watering acidity and firm, balanced tannins provide framework for this velvety textured, expressive and polished Cabernet. The finish is long and carries for several seconds leaving the consumer wanting another sip. -
2021 Summer Dreams (Hundred Acre) Twilight Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
These are the next cult Pinot Noirs in the making, a project by the talented Jason Woodbridge who's Hundred Acre wines are some of the most collected Cabernets out of Napa.$129.905 -
2019 Mount Veeder Winery Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5LTR) (Was $120)
Winery Notes- The Winery Ranch is where it all began. The winery’s founders, the Bernsteins, made their home in an old Civil War-era cabin built on the original Winery Ranch where the pioneering couple planted their first vines. Today, the Winery Ranch is being re-terraced and given new life with high-density plantings of the finest Bordeaux clones, carefully selected for this ruggedly challenging environment. Concentrated fruit flavors and integrated tannins introduce a rich, full-body structure. Sweet fruit is balanced with acidity and savory notes of leather and wet stone, ending with a lengthy finish of dark berry, baking spice, and mocha. -
2020 Sinegal Estate Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc is a stunning wine. The bright and fresh nose is accented by notes of honeydew melon, white peach and lemon curd. Underlying hints of lime zest, vanilla and apple blossom add to the complex aromas. On the palate, there are flavors of fresh nectarines and honeycomb, followed by subtle notes green papaya and lemon verbena. The wine is delicate, yet finishes with refreshing acidity and a long, lingering finish.Rating(s) -
2018 Epoch Authenticity - Paderewski Vineyard Paso Robles Syrah
Winery Notes- Authenticity is a very authentic blend with primarily Syrah from one very steep limestone hillside at Paderewski and blended with a neighboring block of Mourvèdre to yield a supple, sultry and seamless wine that is classically Paderewski. Sometimes we co-ferment some Syrah with a neighboring Viognier block to add a little spice and freshness to the mix. This wine is deemed “The Bill Wine” because it has many gears – big and bold yet elegant and refined. -
2018 Mount Eden Estate Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Appropriate dark ruby color, with amazing fresh soft red fruit aromas and a hint of cardamom, this Pinot has rich and balanced on the palate featuring cocoa, blackberry, oak, and a killer depth of flavor. The 2018 harvest started in early September under perfect ripening conditions. Included in the fermen- tations were 35% whole-cluster to add complexity and vibrancy. There are no "additions" to the winemaking; they employ indigenous yeast during fermentation. When bottled, there is no fining or filtration, creating a natural wine in every aspect. -
2018 Epoch Estate Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Winery Notes- The 2018 Estate Blend is a graceful, awe-inspiring expression of our red varieties at Epoch grown across all three of our vineyard sites – Paderewski, Catapult, and York – in the even-keeled, dreamy 2018 vintage. Brimming with concentrated dark plum and black cherry, savory roasted herbs and meats, earthy forest floor, lavender, chocolate, and vanilla, this wine is generous and harmonious in youth, but it is sure to age beautifully thanks to its balance of flavor and texture on the palate entry to finish
