Supernova Negre is Ca’n Verdura’s flagship red wine produced from the red mantonegro grape, indigenous to the Binissalem region of Mallorca, grown in cal vermell soils consisting of red, iron-rich clays and limestone with small and medium-sized galets. Supernova red originates from the best plots of old-vine mantonegro from goblet-trained vineyards planted in the 1950s in the surrounding villages of Binissalem, including the village of Santa Maria del Camí, which are considered the finest vineyards in the area due to its situation and type of cal vermell soils.$31.9010 -
2019 Terroir al Limit Histórico Priorat
Winery Notes- Unlike the site specific wines of Terroir al Límit, Terroir Històric is devoted to expressing the complex character of the whole of Priorat in two colors: white and red. While the project launched in 2015 is a remarkable incubator for new plantings from the clay and schist soils of Montsant, it is also a liquid homage, utilizing the négocient tradition of the past to secure a sustainable future. Terroir Històric encourages young farmers to not only return to family vineyards in the region’s 9 villages in and around Torroja, but also transition these family vines to organic farming. Històric Negre is a blend of Priorat’s traditional red varieties: Grenche Noir (75 %) and Cariñena (25 %). Harnessing the simple, honest power of great fruit means a truly hands off approach in the cellar: hand harvest, whole cluster naturally ferment, and transfer to inox tank for six months. No extraction, no oak. Crisp red fruit aromas of pomegranate and hibiscus, fennel and blackberry are underscored with the savory accents of smoky garrigue. 2021 Caucasus Valley Kinddzmarauli Semi-Sweet Red Wine Kakheti Georgia
winery Notes- Kindzmarauli is a semi-sweet red wine of appellation of controlled origin (AOC), made with Saperavi grapes grown in the Kindzmarauli micro-viticulture area of the Kakheti region of Georgia. Kindzmarauli is transparent wine of ripe cherry color with pronounced fruit and berry tones. Aromas of crushed rose petals, violets, plums and wild berries. Pleasant velvety tannins create mild flavor and makes the wine more balanced, piquant and wonderful. This is a juicy wine with structure and finesse. The impression on the palate is one of firmly weighed fruit, a hint of sweetness, with a soft silky finish with a balance of tannin.$19.906 -

2022 Caymus-Suisun The Walking Fool Suisun Valley Proprietary Red
Winery Notes- This new red wine blend is produced from Suisun Valley, a remarkable AVA that has become the Wagner family’s second home. A 30-minute drive from Napa, Suisun has ideal soils and climate for a variety of grapes. The Walking Fool is named after a long-ago relative who was often seen traveling by foot – thus earning this affectionate moniker. Featuring Zinfandel and Petite Sirah, this wine is smooth and lively, with juicy raspberry, notes of espresso and softly fine tannins.$26.909 -
2020 Sella & Mosca Cannonau Riserva
Winery Notes- Cannonau is the oenological nexus of Sardinia, and perhaps of the entire mediterranean basin. Sella & Mosca lavishes extra care on it, cultivating it in the warm and sandy seaside vineyards and the harsh and rocky inland soils of the hills. It is fermented and macerated on the skins and aged in oak barrels for at least 6 months, then cellared for 2 years, which favors the development of its classic mediterranean characters. The ruby red color with garnet hues, translucent and brilliant, announces bright, mature and refined aromas. The fresh scent of violet is perfectly integrated by notes of jam, plums, blackcurrants and oriental spices. The palate is solid, well structured and warm in its embrace, but always well-balanced, thanks also to fresh bursts of balsam and medicinal herbs and berries. The aftertaste presents toasted hints before returning to the spice route.$17.9014 -
2022 Venge Scout's Honor Napa Valley Red Blend
Winery Notes- This delicious red blend honors our late and beloved Labrador Retriever, Scout. This wine is based on a tradition of producing a full bodied and delicious red wine. We start with a base of old-vine Zinfandel and build upon that with dry-farmed Petite Sirah, old-vine Charbono, and finish with mountain vineyard Syrah. The result is an unpretentious, generous mouthful of red wine that we recommend be opened and enjoyed immediately upon release. This vintage has a gorgeous, concentrated assemblage of violets, anise, honeysuckle, blue herbs, and a touch of vanillin. The palate is pure richness with loads black fruits and currants, pepper spice, and an enveloping masculinity of char and tannins from the Syrah, Charbono and Petite Sirah. A seamless balance and mouth coating deliciousness lead to a wine that is quite pleasing to the senses. Cellared correctly it will age for 5 to 8 years.$34.9015 -

Elena and Luca strongly believe in Dolcetto as an important “tool” for young wine drinkers and their entry level exposure to the Langhe. 2019 Jonata Todos Ballard Canyon Red Blend
Winery Notes- Incense and Nag Champa fragrance. Bidis. Clove and cigar and black and red licorice. Dark and brooding with sweet blackberries, blueberries, cinnamon and baking spice. Black figs. Cracked white pepper. Like 2013 Todos in its power and breadth. Salty and tight today. Spicy and dark. Lovely depth of fruit. Tannins that start to build on the 3/4 pallet and slowly coat the entire mouth. Bundle of fruit wrapped in a formidable package of complex structure. Will reward those who decant and those who give it a few years in the cellar. One of my favorite Todos to date, no doubt.$49.904 -

Winery Notes- An elegant, harmonious wine with considerable structure and aromaticity. Ruby red in colour with purplish hues, it initially reveals sophisticated notes of vanilla, black pepper and cloves, echoed by gentle nuances of raisined grapes. On the palate it is velvety, with soft tannins and a long and persistent finish.$17.9012 -
2023 Ameztoi Rubentis Rosé Getariako Txakolina
Importer Notes- Ameztoi is one of the top producers of Getariako Txakolina. They own 20 hectares of vines in the best location. From the vineyards one can see the town of St. Sebastian and understand the influence of the Atlantic Ocean on local viticulture. Made from the indigenous grape varieties of Hondarribi Zuri and its red companion Hondarribi Beltza. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and bottled with residual carbonic acid that gives the wine its natural spritz.$23.9010 -
2023 Bodegas Muga Rioja Rosado
Winery Notes- The Muga Rosado 2023 vintage is notable for its pale pink colour. It has a very intense, complex nose, with an initial sensation of peaches, apricots and white blossom. On the palate, it is very well balanced with the acidity integrated with the sensation of volume in the mouth and a very long finish which brings back the reminders of stone fruit and some citrus nuances. With an aftertaste in which we find stone fruit and citrus notes.$16.908 -

2022 Bedrock Wine Co. Bedrock Vineyard - Heritage Wine Sonoma Valley Red Blend
Winery Notes- One of the triumphs of the very good 2022 vintage, this is one of my favorite Bedrock Heritage wines we have made to date. Alas, due to a rough late frost, we also have less of it than normal. Starting in 2022 we adjusted some elements on the viticultural side, including less leafing of the canopy around the clusters. This had a positive impact as the more shaded fruit led to better resolved structure and a bit more suppleness earlier on. This wine always ages beautifully on the back of its tannin component, but sometimes the wines can approach a level of austerity in their youth that requires some patience. Though this wine will still age gracefully for decades, I do think it is one of the more immediately satisfying renditions of the wine— calling to mind the 2012 or 2016 vintages. As always, this is a field-blend of the 20+ varieties planted in 1888 at our home ranch. Based around Zinfandel (roughly 65%), the Bedrock Heritage always has a generous dollop of the spectacular old vine Carignan and Mataro in it, along with the smaller percentages of Syrah, Petite Sirah, Tempranillo, Trousseau, Castets, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Alicante Bouschet, Grand Noir, Lenoir, et al… Wonderfully spicy and perfumed, this wine sings the song of Sonoma Valley.$44.9024 -
