2021 Beaulieu Vineyard Georges de Latour - Private Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
#2 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2024 Winery Notes- This is a truly remarkable vintage of our iconic flagship wine. The bouquet is intense with fragrant notes of wild sage, blackcurrant, cedar, and fresh mint. The palate is expansive and full-bodied with a sumptuous mouthfeel, showcasing layers of ripe blackberry, redcurrant, and red rose petal alongside earthier tones of graphite, licorice root, gravely stone, and dark chocolate. Subtle baking spices from the French oak barrel aging provide sandalwood, clove, and Ceylon cinnamon notes, while the signature “Rutherford Dust” tannins are silky, polished, and fine-grained, finishing long with a cocoa powder texture. Slightly reserved upon release but incredibly drinkable, elegant, and pleasing, the tannins provide approachability with beautiful harmony and balance. There is significant presence, depth, and concentration in this Private Reserve, foreshadowing cellar-worthy potential that will continue to evolve, unfold, and develop across the next few decades.$139.9017 -
2022 Kongsgaard Napa Valley Chardonnay
Winery Notes- Our historic blend of the Hudson and Hyde vineyards is augmented in 2022 with fruit from the spectacular Coombsville estate planted by Warren Winiarski for a wine of both energy and opulence. In line with the previous bottlings, the wine is defined by the tension of citrus and honeyed aromas over a vibrant, saline, mineral finish. When Robert Parker was visiting, he called this the Bâtard-Montrachet of Napa.$139.906 -

2013 Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Rare Brut Champagne
Winery Notes- The effervescence of Rare Millésime 2013 is tinged with an intensely bright, light golden color. The nose, at first subtle and clean, emerges in two stages combining tonicity and elegance. It all begins with the delicacy of white flowers, a hint of black tea and touches of citrus, kiwi and kumquat. Then, notes of lime blossom, green tea and fern give way to aromas of white fruits such as greengage plums. Touches of chestnut honey, sweet spices, vanilla and marzipan round off the wine's rich bouquet. The two facets of Rare Millésime 2013 are confirmed in the mouth: smooth and vibrant, indulgent and dynamic. After hints of meringue, whipped cream and marzipan, kumquat, blood orange and kiwi then provide a refreshing tonicity. On the finish, the comforting texture of Rare Millésime 2013 appears as an aromatic and smoky indulgence punctuated by a freshness and a subtle bitterness. Rare Champagne's iconic signature of tropic minerality is expressed differently in Rare Millésime 2013, extended by a plump and prolonged aftertaste.$189.908 -
2015 Bollinger La Grande Année Brut Champagne
Winery Notes- La Grande Année 2015 is a blend of 11 crus, predominantly 60% of Pinot Noir from Verzenay, Aÿ and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and 40% of Chardonnay from Chouilly and Avize. Fermentation takes place entirely in oak barrels and the wine is aged, sealed with a natural cork, for more than twice the time required by the appellation. Dosage is moderate, 8 grams per litre. One sign that 2015 would be an excellent year was the remarkable weather. Blasing hot sunshine was moderated by rain showers and Bollinger's expertise. Harvest began on September 4th and was of a very high quality. Compact bunches of small berries and quite high levels of acidity. Yellow gold reflections, evidence of the wine's maturity, but also of Bollinger's vinification methods. Initial scents are full of small stone fruits, with notes of Pomme Gris, plum and Mirabelle plum, layered with a touch of honey. Aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, cherry, and raspberry follow; A medley of red fruits dances with notes of almond. Exotic touches of mango follow, dissolving into tertiary scents of vanilla and a delicate woody aroma. On the palate the wine is plump, generous and enticing, reminiscent of Mirabelle plum jam. Texture and richness define the tasting experience. The finish blends notes of chocolate and citrus fruits, bringing a touch of acidity, lengthened further by hints of schist. A hugely generous wine!$189.909 -

Plush, soft tannins and bright acidity enhance the length, complementing the rich fruit and savory undertones. A compelling tension infuses the wine with focused energy, promising it will express beautifully for years to come.$294.906 -

Winery Notes- This was the coldest year of the decade. This linear, well-balanced vintage has forged wines for ageing, built for the future; whose aromas will reach a dramatic crescendo as they come to the fore. A vintage calling for patience, slowly developing over time, distinguished and refined. Today the wines linger in the bloom of youth, delivering notes of dried flowers and the gentle touch of gossamer bubbles, while elegantly structured and linear on the palate.$159.903 -

2021 Sullivan Family Coeur De Vigne Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
#75 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2024 Winery Notes- The 2021 vintage set the stage for wines that promised exceptional richness and enduring charm. Napa Valley encountered a parched winter extending into spring, with intermittent rains rejuvenating the vines. Despite a few sporadic heat spikes, the vines thrived in relatively mild and consistent temperatures, ensuring uniform fruit maturation. With yields reduced by 30%, the vines prioritized ripening only what they could. The outcome: a vintage with diminished yields, offering petite, intensely flavored berries crafting wines of notable density, concentration, and vigor.
