2022 Brewer-Clifton Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- This bottling is comprised of Pinot Noir from four vineyards within the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. 3D, Machado, Hapgood, and Perilune vineyards all contribute to the wine which exhibits a drive, richness and pedigree expressive of our special growing area coupled with the purity of fruit and firm structure which have been the trademark of Brewer-Clifton. 3D - The primary emphasis of the predominantly sandy 10 acre vineyard is chardonnay, with five clones planted. In addition to chardonnay, there is a smaller field of pinot noir planted to Swan, Pommard and 667 clones. MACHADO - 15 acre parcel on the Machado family land is located adjacent to Clos Pepe and immediately behind the Kessler-Haak vineyard. The site is marked by a gorgeous rolling terrain with sandy clay loam soils. HAPGOOD - In slightly richer soil, the vineyard is planted to the Mount Eden selection of chardonnay. The elevated clay loam content results in larger volume and a more dense palate expression. Our most recent installation, planted in 2010, is this small 2 1/2 acre section of pinot noir planted to Merry Edwards clone. CRAFT Only neutral barrels are employed. We strive for whole cluster fermentation. We farm with a focus of ripening the stems alongside the fruit, allowing the cluster to be in harmony. Working with the stems allows for wines that are structured, earthy and balanced with our beautiful Sta. Rita Hills fruit. CELLARING All of the wines are produced with the intention of aging and cellaring for at least 10 years and can easily be enjoyed after 15 years.$38.9012 -
2022 Ojai Santa Barbara County Syrah
Winery Notes- Our aim with our Sa Our aim with our Santa Barbara County Syrah is to capture a precociously drinkable expression of the region’s cool-climate vineyards. This wine is just that. The 2022 vintage gave us a hot September, so there’s a deep and ample ripeness to this bottling. Still, our coastal vineyards held onto their earthy and savory Syrah qualities. The varietal fragrance is striking and pungent. There’s a complex profile of incense, suede leather, balsamic, and spicy root beer botanicals, while a deep layer of mocha and plum promises rich pleasure for the mouth. It for the mouth. It works out that way, too. The palate is suave and easy, with front-loaded dark fruits that glide into peppery game and chocolate$34.9011 -
2023 Ojai Clima Frío Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- This 2023 Pinot Noir is the first of our new Clima Frío series, and we’re elated by what a dramatic and aromatic debut this is. This bottling cobbles together fruit grown in the Santa Maria Valley and just outside the Sta. Rita Hills. The wine is packed with earthy nuance while sporting lots of juicy, spicy fruit. It pulls you in with its wild aroma, which has pretty notes of dried rose, spice box, orange peel, and black tea. Then you’ll find it’s a just a joy to drink—juicy with ripe berries and cherry, refreshingly mineral, and there’s a fine spicy astringency that builds in the mid-palate onward. There’s lots of substance here, but it’s also a wine that’s very easy to enjoy a second glass.Rating(s)$39.9012 -
2022 Brewer-Clifton Machado Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Looking to secure a mirror-image sister ranch to our 3D Vineyard, we began working with the Machado family in the winter of 2008. Our 15 acre parcel on their land is located adjacent to Clos Pepe and immediately behind the Kessler-Haak Vineyard. The site is marked by a gorgeous rolling terrain with sandy loam soils. At Machado, the majority of the planting is dedicated to pinot noir with equal amounts of such selections as Pommard, Merry Edwards, Mount Eden, and 459. In addition to pinot noir, we also planted a small, two-acre plot in the sandiest portion of the field to the Sweeney Canyon selection of chardonnay.Rating(s)$84.9024+ -
2023 Dragonette Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- The great Happy Canyon blend has returned. The 2022 sold out long ago and we have been anxiously awaiting this wine in the Tasting Room and around town at top restaurants. A product of all four Sauvignon Blanc vineyards, this wine shows the true excellence of the Happy Canyon appellation; beautiful ripeness and dramatic fruit flavors held aloft by fabulous acidity and minerality and only a hint of the herbaceousness for which Sauvignon Blanc is (in)famous. As always, top notch, per acre farming is the key here, as we prune and shoot thin for drastically lower yields than in the case of the conventional SB farming protocols. Concentration is dramatically more intense with this style of farming. For the Happy Canyon, we then choose lots that have a more energetic, taut, and lively character, along with the depth and concentration that these fabulous vineyards provide. The wine ages for a total of 7 months on the lees, before it is blended, cold stabilized with a light fining (plant and soil-based fining agents) and gently cross-flow filtered before bottling. The wine pairs with a tremendous variety of foods with weight and interest lifted by great structure and acidity. The 2023 version of the Happy Canyon Sauvignon Blanc is 40% Grassini, 37% Vogelzang, 18% Grimm’s Bluff and 5% Two Wolves. The wine was aged in 72% neutral oak barrels and 28% stainless steel, with 85% Clone 1 and 15% musque. The wine is delicious out of the gate showing mixed tropical fruits, crisp citrus-laced acidity, minerals and a touch of fresh herbs.$33.9024+ -
2023 Diatom Santa Barbara County Chardonnay
Winery Notes- The 2023 diatom Santa Barbara Chardonnay offers aroma of lemon, citrus blossom and wet sand. Flavors of saline and white peach on the palate. A precise, balanced wine.Rating(s)$19.9022 -
2021 Tyler Estate Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- For seventeen vintages, we have closely engaged with the foundational vineyards of this singular and nuanced region. In 2021, we acquired Fiddlestix Vineyard, first planted in 1998, immediately adjacent to Sanford & Benedict in the southern corridor of our appellation. In concert with Mae Estate to the north, these holdings privilege us to tell a comprehensive story of the Sta. Rita’s diverse terroir. And it begins in the vineyard. This moment is the culmination of nearly two decades of learning from the valley’s vineyards. Now, with total control of our farming, we can insure that Mae and Fiddlestix are ushered into the future with respect for our landscape and with the promise of longevity. In these new wines, we have married selections from Mae and Fiddlestix to share with you the complexity of the Sta. Rita as only we can.Rating(s)$49.9018 -
2019 Jonata Todos Ballard Canyon Red Blend
Winery Notes- Incense and Nag Champa fragrance. Bidis. Clove and cigar and black and red licorice. Dark and brooding with sweet blackberries, blueberries, cinnamon and baking spice. Black figs. Cracked white pepper. Like 2013 Todos in its power and breadth. Salty and tight today. Spicy and dark. Lovely depth of fruit. Tannins that start to build on the 3/4 pallet and slowly coat the entire mouth. Bundle of fruit wrapped in a formidable package of complex structure. Will reward those who decant and those who give it a few years in the cellar. One of my favorite Todos to date, no doubt.$49.904 -
2022 Siduri Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Siduri explores two exceptional areas within Santa Barbara County that are exceptionally well-suited for growing Pinot Noir - Santa Maria Valley and the Sta. Rita Hills. Pinot Noirs from the Santa Maria Valley provide "crunchy" fresh fruits that are laden with spice notes, while Pinot Noirs from the Sta. Rita Hills provide opulent red and black fruits that jump from the glass with tremendous energy. The marriage of these two distinctive growing areas provides a portrait of a beautiful place to grow cool-climate Pinot Noir.$22.9023 -
2022 OLG Our Lady of Guadalupe Vineyard Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The 2022 OLG Pinot Noir pours a dark persimmon core with a lucid rose hip rim. Laden with elegant aromatics, notes of bright raspberry, bing cherry and Pinot funk develop into darker tones of black cherry, mocha and mahogany. On the palate, the entry is scrumptiously soft with cranberry crunch, ripe strawberry, redcurrant and a touch of maritozzo. Typical of the Sta. Rita Hills, the finish is lined with minerality and some saline hints with closing touches of fennel and anise.Rating(s)$79.904 -
2022 Belle Glos Clark & Telephone Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Deep purple with flecks of garnet in color with lavish aromas of warm blackberry pie, raspberry, licorice, and white pepper. Bold and sophisticated on the palate with flavors of dry cherry, crushed lavender, and chocolate covered blueberries. The texture is rich and velvety which leads to a long, structured finish.$39.901 -
2021 Kendall-Jackson Grand Reserve Santa Barbara County Chardonnay
Winery Notes- Lush tropical fruit, lemon, lime and floral notes intertwines with nice minerality from the calciferous soils in the Santa Maria and Los Alamos Valleys. There is a touch of floral notes from the small amounts of Dijon and Rued clones, and a hint of vanilla and spice to round out the rich, long finish.$16.9022 -
2022 Tensley Colson Canyon Vineyard Santa Barbara County Syrah
Winery Notes- Growing wine at Colson Canyon is such a pleasure! Elevation of 1,400 feet creates warm windy days with very cool nights. Creating a wine of power and finesse at the same time. First, the wine is thick with dense color, but when you put your nose in the glass fresh red and black fruits come to mind. A long coffee and vanilla finish. Texture coats your mouth for a few seconds while the wine lingers in your mouth. Most people like Colson Canyon Syrah young full of fruit and texture, but don’t be afraid to hide this away for 20+ years. You will be pleasantly surprised!$44.9024+ -
2020 Sanford Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Rating:★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Winery Notes- Rich and beautifully focused from top to bottom. Deep, and vibrant red fruits and baking spices aromas inform the palate which is supple, serious, and wonderfully fresh. Although charming now, it will continue to improve over several years. The Sanford Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir is always a blend from both of our estate vineyards: the historic Sanford & Benedict Vineyard (44%) and La Rinconada (56%). These singular vineyards are in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation. A wide range of Pinot Noir selections are planted on these sites, and this wine is a blend of 8 of these from several different soil types.$39.902 -

2021 The Paring (The Hilt) Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- A smooth and deeply fruited Pinot Noir, the wine enraptures the minute it hits the glass. Its bright red fruit mixes with a hint of plum and spice on the nose. This is a bolder style of Pinot Noir, but it will more than satisfy those who crave nuance and refinement. The palate is round, soft and harmonious with spicy red cherry intermingling with the right amount of oak. This is truly a best-in-class Pinot Noir.Rating(s)$24.906 -
2020 Fundamental (Tensley) Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- This wine is sourced equally from Paso Robles and Santa Barbara County, bringing the best each region has to offer to the bottle. The climate and clay soils of Paso Robles bring amazing power, color, earth notes, black currants, bacon and dry, rich tannins to the table, while the Santa Barbara County fruit, having grown in a cooler climate with sandier soils, keeps the wine fresh and balanced, with pretty notes of plum and cherry. While the quality of this wine could hold its own in any price category, it’s sure to rival any Cabernet at this price point.$16.9014 -
2020 Melville Terraces Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- A beautiful blue garnet in color, with aromas of spiced cranberry, orange zest and pomegranate dancing from the glass. Pure, bright and clean, Terraces finishes with the grace and elegance you have come to expect.$69.906
