2023 Patz & Hall Hyde Vineyard Carneros Chardonnay (Was $60)
Winery Notes- This Chardonnay is from blocks planted for Patz & Hall in 1997 and 1999 using the famous “Hyde Wente” selection of Chardonnay. The 2022 Hyde Chardonnay demonstrates why this vineyard has been a three-star, acclaimed Patz & Hall offering for over 30 years. The just ripe pomaceous fruit mingles seamlessly with the vanilla spice from careful new French oak ageing. Evidence of lees contact show by richness of palate and a nuance of toast and flint. This wine has wonderfully fresh acidity that is contrasted by startling deep, rich textures, a seeming contradiction, found in only the greatest Chardonnays.Rating(s)$39.905 -
2023 Lewis Cellars Napa Valley Chardonnay
Winery Notes- Remarkably fresh and nuanced are the hallmarks of our 2023 Chardonnay Napa Valley. Aromas of white flower blossom, shortbread, and stone fruit are threaded with mineral and spice. 2023 Etude Grace Benoist Ranch Carneros Chardonnay
Winery Notes- From six special acres in the heart of the Grace Benoist Ranch, our estate Chardonnay is a beautiful example of everything Carneros has to offer. Lively, fresh, and vibrant, this Chardonnay is truly exemplary of elegance and grace, crafted intentionally to showcase the expressive fruit and terroir, so there is no malolactic fermentation, and a delicate touch of oak. Lifted floral notes of honeysuckle, Meyer lemon, and vanilla, waft from the fragrant bouquet, while flavors of zesty, fresh-cut apple, honeydew melon, Bartlett pair, and graham cracker pie crust, intermingle on the palate. Luscious and creamy in texture, with a stony minerality, and pleasing freshness, a signature from Grace Benoist Ranch, demonstrates a lovely, mouth-watering backbone of crisp acidity. The finish is clean and long, delighting the palate, and inviting sip after sip.$33.904 -
2023 Hyde de Villaine (HDV) Hyde Vineyard Napa Valley Chardonnay
Winery Notes- After three of the most challenging seasons in recent years, with consecutive extreme drought conditions and heat events, 2023 came as a redemption year. The year started with a wet and cold Winter. Spring and early Summer remained cool and overcast, with only a handful of warmer days. Consequently, Harvest was delayed by almost 6 weeks compared to a 10-year average. The waiting was nerve-racking, as early rains and cool Falls are not uncommon in Napa. Moderate weather continued through September and early October, allowing for extended hang time. The crop was balanced and generous, resulting in wines of refined purity and detailed precision.$84.9013 -
2023 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Chardonnay
Winery Notes- The 2023 Pahlmeyer Chardonnay is a bright, fresh expression of our mountain fruit, offering remarkable precision and depth. Aromatically, it is highly expressive, with notes of honeysuckle, orange blossom, and preserved lemon, deepening into a core of tangerine and apricot. A touch of toasted almond and a subtle flinty note add further complexity. On the palate, this Chardonnay balances intensity with elegance — finely detailed and in perfect focus. Its acidity is vibrant and mouthwatering, lifting the layers of citrus and stone fruit while lending a seamless, silky texture. A long, polished finish echoes with hints of warm honey and citrus zest.$94.904 -
2023 Napa Cellars Napa Valley Chardonnay
Winery Notes- A balanced and memorable Chardonnay that starts with aromas of orange blossom, Asian pear, crème fraiche, peaches and chamomile, complemented by notes of toffee, honeysuckle, and graham cracker. On the palate, flavors of green apple, Meyer lemon and stonefruit are finished with notes of tangerine and vanilla. This Chardonnay is smooth, creamy and balanced with a lingering acidity and a long finish. This is the perfect wine to pair with a brie or gouda cheese plate drizzled with local honey and hazelnut.$15.909 -
2023 Stony Hill Napa Valley Chardonnay
Pale straw with green glints, the 2023 Stony Hill Napa Valley Chardonnay is classic, mountain-grown restraint: brisk aromas of lemon oil, green apple, and Williams pear over white flowers, crushed rock, and a cool fennel snap. The palate is taut and precise rather than opulent—citrus and orchard fruit ride a lively acid spine, with subtle almond skin, chamomile, and a light chiffon of lees giving texture without weight. Oak stays in the background (largely neutral in the house style), letting the Spring Mountain minerality lead; malolactic influence is minimal, so the finish is long, saline, and mouthwatering. Serve at 50–54°F with halibut, roast chicken, or a goat cheese and herb tart; delicious now for its verve, with 5–7 years of graceful development ahead.$44.907 -
2023 Miner Napa Valley Chardonnay
Winery Notes- Sourced from select low-yielding vineyards in Napa Valley, our Chardonnay is characterized by crisp apple, ripe melon and citrus flavors, gently balanced with toasty French oak. Our winemaker uses malolactic fermentation in moderation to retain the wine’s bright acidity. More than a decade after our Chardonnay put us on the map, this wine remains a classic.$34.901 -
2023 Beringer Private Reserve Napa Valley Chardonnay
Winery Notes- This Chardonnay opens with lovely, perfumed aromas of bright citrus, including lemon zest and a touch of orange and tangerine marmalade — enlivened by a delicate white flower musk. Subtle hints of white tea, white chocolate and honeycomb add warmth and complexity. The palate is mouthwatering and fresh, showing vibrant acidity balanced by a full-bodied weight and a round, rich character. The flavor evolves beautifully, showcasing layers of Asian pear, lemon meringue and sweet pineapple. Spiced undertones interlace with the fruit, adding notes of jasmine, hazelnut and vanilla, all creating a nuanced depth. The finish is unctuous, highlighting beeswax, fresh hay, and lanolin, with a pleasing viscosity that coats the mouth rounding out this expressive and elegant Chardonnay.$34.904 -
2021 Heitz Cellar Quartz Creek Oak Knoll District Chardonnay (Was $85)
Winery Notes- In the early 1960s, Joe and Alice Heitz envisioned crafting the most distinguished Chardonnay in Napa Valley. They learned under legends like Fred and Eleanor McCrea from Stony Hill Vineyard up on Spring Mountain. With those ambitious goals in mind, we carry on their legacy through the expression of the Quartz Creek Vineyard Chardonnay. Situated at the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains and blanketed by the morning fog from the Petaluma Gap, this site continues to produce our most elegant and refined expression of Chardonnay. Always sustainably farmed and vinified in the classic style to evoke the purest characteristics of the land where the grapes are grown.Rating(s)$49.904 -
