Shipping & Delivery
The Wine Stop offers extensive shipping and delivery services across the United States (International services available upon request). Free local delivery is available through The Wine Stop, as long as all orders meet the $500 minimum. All orders require a 3-7 day processing period due to consolidating from several warehouses. All wine is shipped will be packed and sealed in styrofoam enclosed containers. We are able to ship quantities of any amount and can pack up to 15 bottles in a single case (Champagne excluded). All orders must be signed by adults of the age 21 or older. We reserve the right to withhold shipments, due to weather-related issues or any condition that can cause damage to products being shipped.
* All orders shipped or picked up in-store in the state of California are subject to 9.00% Sales Tax.
Note: All packages shipped by The Wine Stop are done so at the request of the consumer. Shipments will be delivered to the address provided by the buyer. The Wine Stop does not condone any false information given for the delivery of direct shipment. By placing an order you the consumer authorize The Wine Stop to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your wine to you. The purchaser represents that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his or her local and state law regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of wine. The Wine Stop entrusts all consumers to provide address information that will in no way or form be of any risk or cause for any legal action upon our establishment by any authority. You the consumer are solely responsible for taking possession of all wines that you purchase from The Wine stop.
Privacy & Security
While individuals are required to submit basic account information at The Wine Stop website, please know that the information provided will be kept extremely confidential. Billing information such as credit cards, and all other personal information will be for the sole use of The Wine Stop. Information that is provided will not be shared or sold to third party companies, or any other consumers who visit The Wine Stop online. Shopping with The Wine Stop is completely secure, as we use the latest encryption technology to keep your personal information safe. Only The Wine Stop staff will be subject to view sensitive information, and all order form pages will be 100% securely locked.
Returns & Replacements
Our first priority here at The Wine Stop is customer satisfaction. We guarantee quality products and will provide extremely efficient customer service. If upon receiving your order you are for any reason dissatisfied, we ask that you please contact The Wine Stop at your earliest convenience. If there are any concerns that are not brought to our attention within 30 days, the order will stand as is. By law, The Wine Stop is only able to accept returned goods in case of spoilage or other product defects. Orders which are cancelled or returned without notification ahead of time can be subject to a processing/restocking fee of up to 10% of the total invoice. With any returned/refunded goods, only a store credit can be issued to the consumer. All store credits must be used within a year of the date issued. If you have any questions or concerns about how to ship the wine back to our location, please feel free to call or reach us via e-mail, and one of our staff members will be more than helpful in providing shipping instructions.
*All wines of which are Rare & Old vintages are purchased at the consumer’s own risk. The Wine Stop is not responsible for spoilage of wines based on vintage date.
The Wine Stop order forms require personal information in order to fulfill all desired shipments. The information is also used to ensure that the persons ordering are of the required 21 age minimum that is enforced by law in all 50 U.S. states. The information we collect includes:
- First and Last Name
- Billing Address
- Shipping Address (If different from billing)
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Credit Card account number, including expiration date
- Products you have purchased from us
- All special instructions (e.g. gift notes and/or ship later requests)
All information provided will be used to make sure orders are shipped to the correct individuals that are placing them. If for any reason we encounter any difficulties with the information you provide, a staff member from The Wine Stop may use the information to contact the appropriate party and get any issues resolved. The information can also be used in a variety of ways that are extremely beneficial for our consumers, these include:
- To show order history and status of the shipment
- Order confirmation and tracking shipment
- Special member and club offerings
- Informing customers about newly released and rated products
- Subscription service
- Credit card information is used to bill products that are ordered at The Wine Stop website
- Customers will be placed on The Wine Stop mailing list
Payment, Pricing & Promotions
The Wine Stop will not ship/deliver any order which has not been completely paid in full. All payments can me made using the following methods: cash, check, credit card, or direct wire transfer. By providing all necessary credit card information when ordering, consumers authorize The Wine Stop to use the information and apply all charges required for the completion of the order. These required charges can include: all products ordered online, styrofoam packing boxes, delivery fees, and all shipping & handling freight charges. All prices advertised on The Wine Stop online catalog are reflective of per bottle pricing. In some instances, a special case price may be advertised for a limited time only. The Wine Stop is not responsible for typographical errors regarding special promotional codes, all prices are subject to confirmation upon acceptance of the order.
All orders that are placed online at The Wine Stop can be tracked and viewed by the appropriate consumer. Information regarding orders of which are not your own will not be able to be accessed by any other clients of The Wine Stop. Our staff will be extremely efficient in making sure all orders are shipped in a timely manner with the utmost care. Tracking numbers for all packages will be provided and customers can carefully follow their package(s) on the FedEx website. When customers register for The Wine Stop online, it enables them to view all activity under their account from that moment forward. This feature makes it extremely effortless for consumers to keep track of all products they have purchased, and provides the ability to see the current status of each pending order. The Wine Stop online store contains cookies, in order to identify each user and store data on the user’s hard drive which contains information about the consumer. This helps both parties when it comes to promotional emails and online orders because it makes the system in a way remember who you are. Consumers will not be able to place orders at The Wine Stop online store if the cookies are disabled on the browser being used by the individual.
The Wine Stop LLC and all page headers, custom graphics, bottle images, and button icons are service marks, trademarks, and/or trade dress of The Wine Stop LLC and can not be used by other web sites. All other trademarks, product names, and company names or logos cited herein are the property of their respective owners.
Updating Account Information
All account information that is provided on The Wine Stop website will have the capability of being reviewed, changed, updated, or corrected at any time the user desires. Consumers that wish to be taken off any mailing lists or online subscriptions may disable the pertaining features under their account information.
