2021 Hamel Stratum Sonoma Valley Red Blend (Was $60)
Winery Notes- The 2021 Stratum Red Wine displays a dark ruby hue in the glass. With a focused tension on the front and mid-palate, the energy and sapidity of the wine’s structure extend into a finish shaped by tightly knit, chalky mineral tannins. 2021 Vina Robles Paso Robles Petite Sirah
Winery Notes- Petite Sirah is a classic variety grown in California for more than a century, and is well suited to the limiting soils found in our estate vineyards in Paso Robles. The fruit for our 2021 Petite Sirah was picked at tasted ripeness and sorted in the early morning to ensure quality and integrity of the berries. The fruit was then crushed at our state-of-the-art winery into temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with tailored pumpovers determined each day during fermentation to extract essential color and flavors from the skins while also balancing tannins for overall mouthfeel. After pressing, the wine was racked into barrels to complete malolactic fermentation and aging. The wine was aged a total of 20 months in French, Hungarian and American oak barrels from selected cooperages and stored in climate-controlled rooms for added mouthfeel and complexity. Upon the first 8 months of aging, extensive blending trials were conducted before the final lots were selected and blended for overall synergies - structure and minerality from Creston Valley, along with silkiness and expressive fruit from Jardine. The blend was then aged for an additional 12 months in barrels to fully integrate before bottling. The result is a wine displaying complexity, structure, richness and balance. Full-bodied with juicy dark fruits, dark chocolate, mouth filling with a palate coating creamy finish.$23.906 -
2021 La Follette Los Primeros Sonoma County Pinot Noir

Layered into this are blending components from a handful of truly elite Sonoma Coast producers. Visually, the wine is a light ruby which fades to delicate pink with a hint of brick red. By sight alone one would think this to be Côte de Beaune rather than California. But the nose has classic Sonoma cherry cola nut and ripe raspberry with bacon fat, sage, white button mushroom and fall leaves. On the palate, the wine is on the lighter side of medium body and bursts with black cherry and pomegranate. This initial fruit is followed by a brace of acidity with tons of spice followed by black pepper, paprika, sage, tomato leaf and hints of oyster shell.$27.905 -

2022 Haarmeyer Wirz Vineyard Cienaga Valley Riesling Orange
Winery Notes- The Wirz vineyard was planted by Almaden in 1963, back when big wineries were still planting vines on their own roots and furrow irrigation. Miraculously, the vineyard remains intact, thanks to work of the Wirz family. They were hired by Almaden to farm it because they lived on the property. Almaden eventually sold the vineyard to Pat Wirz’s father and Pat is the man who has been in charge for the past 45 years, farming it as his father once did with strict practices that honor the old tradition of caring for the land as well as the vines. The site is just east of the San Andreas Fault. This piece of land has a limestone base with decomposed granite overlaying. Although it sits at about 1,000 feet above sea level and gets some marine air, the days are frequently quite warm. The vines are head-trained, tiny bush vines spaced ten feet apart and the clusters range in size from golf ball to baseball. The yield is typically about one ton per acre.$26.905
