2023 Cep (Peay Vineyards) Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The ideal expression of Pinot Noir to us is a wine that has body without heaviness and is full of flavor but graceful and elegant. The 2023 Cep Pinot Noir captures this essence and is just gorgeous. The aroma features bright fruits of raspberry, pomegranate, and cranberry with floral elements blowing through and a slightly brambly, anise quality giving ballast in the face of the high tones. It is full-flavored yet not rich, a quality I find very attractive and unique, especially at this price point. The acidity is mouth-watering though not aggressive. The tell-tale Peay Pinot Noir aromas of dried pine needle, jasmine tea, and earth linger in the aftertaste. This wine offers charm, complexity, and value. Cep is the second label of Peay Vineyards. The Pinot Noir is made from barrels that do not go into one of the Peay Pinot Noirs and, oftentimes, many of the barrels from a specific block found in a Peay wine are also in this cuvée. This style of Pinot Noir is simply not found in wines at this price point as it is made to be Peay and has impeccable balance, finesse, and site expressiveness. 2022 Aperture Soil Specific Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend
Winery Notes- All of our fruit is hand harvested and brought into the winery within hours of being picked. Everything is methodically and obsessively sorted. A cold soak of 4-7 days with minimal air incorporation starts the extraction and then cool fermentations with native yeast carry out the remaining. Air and temperature are controlled throughout the 14-28 day fermentation and extended maceration is determined lot by lot when I walk the fine line of full extraction but still keep an elegant and silky texture. Wines go through malolactic fermentation in barrel and are aged (sur-lees) for 18 months. For this vintage, we crafted a distinct Bordeaux blend, composed of primarily Merlot and Malbec, with a delicately balancing of smallerinclusion of cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot, and cabernet franc. The ripe red fruit characters are structured by silky seamless tannins, showcasing an elegant density to the blend.$49.903 -
2023 Aperture Soil Specific Alexander Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- The 2023 sauvignon blanc incorporates our estate-grown sémillion and sauvignon musqué, that we planted on the Aperture property in 2019. These two estate blocks were hand-harvested in early September at the same time as the Sauvignon Blanc from Farrow Ranch in Geyserville. The sauvignon blanc from Dry Stack Vineyard in the Bennett Valley AVA was brought to the winery in early October, consistent with this vineyard’s unique late-ripening characteristics.$36.908 -

2023 Wayfarer WF2 Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Aromas of Bing cherry, strawberry, rose petal potpourri, violets and lilac develop in the glass. The 2022 has a freshness that can only come from a cooler growing season. The wine is creamy on the entry, with a mix of dark and tart cherry, pomegranate, licorice, brown sugar and Madagascar vanilla on the palate. 2023 Failla Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The Vineyards represented in this bottling are a stellar depiction of quality farming, mature vines, and the distinct terroir of cool climates that are graced with the soils, fog, and ocean influence that bring Pinot Noir to life. Roughly 25% of the grapes used in this bottling are estate grown and farmed. The Pinot Noir is pressed 30% whole cluster, with native yeast fermentation. It is aged for 8 months in 15% new French oak, and 85% neutral. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered. Aromatically the wine has a floral perfume, with notes of bright red fruits and hints of wild herbs. On the palate, the wine has juicy pomegranate seeds along with a structure of finesse and elegance.$34.906 -
