Winery Notes- The 2024 Freestone-Occidental wine shares the same winemaking techniques as our vineyard designated pinot noirs. Crystalline, bright, mouthwatering, and a bit salty with a saline mineral finish, the 2024 Freestone-Occidental evokes juicy red berries and a near perfect balance of finesse and energy – of bright, primary red fruits and saline elements. It conveys outstanding precision and lift in the mouth and finishes vibrant and long with beautifully sculpted tannins. Its modest alcohol (13%) makes this wine a perfect complement to any meal. 2022 Aperture Soil Specific Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend
Winery Notes- All of our fruit is hand harvested and brought into the winery within hours of being picked. Everything is methodically and obsessively sorted. A cold soak of 4-7 days with minimal air incorporation starts the extraction and then cool fermentations with native yeast carry out the remaining. Air and temperature are controlled throughout the 14-28 day fermentation and extended maceration is determined lot by lot when I walk the fine line of full extraction but still keep an elegant and silky texture. Wines go through malolactic fermentation in barrel and are aged (sur-lees) for 18 months. For this vintage, we crafted a distinct Bordeaux blend, composed of primarily Merlot and Malbec, with a delicately balancing of smallerinclusion of cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot, and cabernet franc. The ripe red fruit characters are structured by silky seamless tannins, showcasing an elegant density to the blend.$49.903 -

2022 Gary Farrell Russian River Selection Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Seductive aromas of Luxardo cherries intertwined with rose petals, fresh fennel, dark berry preserves, and a hint of savory earth. Winery Notes- The style of vintage 2022 once more reveals an aromatic profile of high maturity, comparable to vintage 2019, but with fruit that is even more present. The wines are both ample and rich, with lovely balance of acidity, silky tannins and explosive fruit. The whole range of wines already offers immediate tasting pleasure and the higher appellations will gain from patience over some years in cellar.$124.901 -
2022 Sojourn Wohler Vineyard Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- A warm 2022 summer brought one of the earliest harvests on record in the Sonoma Coast, with a September heat wave influencing some picking decisions. Cooler pockets of the Sonoma Coast fared well through the heat and the resulting wines offer depth and finesse. Yields were miniscule, with many vineyards breaking records on the low side for cluster weights. The resulting wines have concentrated flavors with tension and length. In 2022 we harvested Wohler Vineyard in multiple passes, fermenting each block separately. We also co-fermented small portions of the steepest ends of the clone 828 and 667 blocks. This lot formed the foundation of the 2022 blend. Clones 667 and 828 provided rich fruit and density while the Wädenswil 2A component added earthy notes and structure.$54.905 -
