2024 Occidental Freestone-Occidental Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The 2024 Freestone-Occidental wine shares the same winemaking techniques as our vineyard designated pinot noirs. Crystalline, bright, mouthwatering, and a bit salty with a saline mineral finish, the 2024 Freestone-Occidental evokes juicy red berries and a near perfect balance of finesse and energy – of bright, primary red fruits and saline elements. It conveys outstanding precision and lift in the mouth and finishes vibrant and long with beautifully sculpted tannins. Its modest alcohol (13%) makes this wine a perfect complement to any meal. 2024 Failla Estate Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The Fort Ross-Seaview AVA is characterized by minimum elevations of 920 feet, (keeping us just above the fog line), and distances near to the ocean, keeping temperatures lower than average. Planted in 1997, our Estate Vineyard is organically dry-farmed and sits at 1000-1400 ft. Just 2.5 miles east of the Pacific Ocean, our 92-acre ranch has 11 acres under vine. We picked our first fruit from this vineyard in 1999 and have steadily increased production in the years since.$79.903 -

2024 Sea Smoke Botella Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Botella is named after the mineral-rich soil type found on our Estate Vineyard and other exceptional vineyards of the Sta. Rita Hills. Botella’s grapes are sourced from neighboring vineyards of the Sea Smoke estate. Our Pinot Noir is shaped with a gentle hand, echoing the estate’s signature elegance while offering its own bright immediacy. Similar to the approach we take with our estate wines, winemaking features separate fermentations by block with gentle cap management. Botella features less time on the skins, earlier picks for bright aromatics, shorter barrel aging, and lower new French oak impact.$49.9020 -
2023 Cep (Peay Vineyards) Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The ideal expression of Pinot Noir to us is a wine that has body without heaviness and is full of flavor but graceful and elegant. The 2023 Cep Pinot Noir captures this essence and is just gorgeous. The aroma features bright fruits of raspberry, pomegranate, and cranberry with floral elements blowing through and a slightly brambly, anise quality giving ballast in the face of the high tones. It is full-flavored yet not rich, a quality I find very attractive and unique, especially at this price point. The acidity is mouth-watering though not aggressive. The tell-tale Peay Pinot Noir aromas of dried pine needle, jasmine tea, and earth linger in the aftertaste. This wine offers charm, complexity, and value. Cep is the second label of Peay Vineyards. The Pinot Noir is made from barrels that do not go into one of the Peay Pinot Noirs and, oftentimes, many of the barrels from a specific block found in a Peay wine are also in this cuvée. This style of Pinot Noir is simply not found in wines at this price point as it is made to be Peay and has impeccable balance, finesse, and site expressiveness. 2023 Road 31 Napa Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Four plots across two vineyards contributed to this wine. From the Green Island, at the southern mouth of the Napa River, where the water spills into the San Pablo/San Francisco Bay, comes the prettiness of clone 115 and power of clone 667. Stanly Ranch, in Carneros just northwest across the Napa River from Green Island, provides clone 114 structure and robustness of clone 777. What a wine this 2021 Road 31 Napa Valley Pinot Noir is. Imagine Harry Potter, Gal Gadot, Elvis (the early days, not the donut-eating-sequin-wings years), and a 1962 Ferrari GTO all wrapped together in velour. Pull the cork and you may find yourself suddenly reciting Shakespearean sonnets from memory, understanding string theory, and feeling an inexplicable desire — and capability — to dance the tango like a blind Al Pacino. 2023 OLG Our Lady of Guadalupe Vineyard Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (Was $80)
Winery Notes- An endearing pour of a brooding crimson core with flashes of vermilion and neon pink as the glass swirls. Aromatics spill in double time with notes of muddled strawberry, “Pinot crunch”, cranberry, pomegranate, orange peel, and the coastal hills of lavender and sagebrush surrounding our vineyard. Without missing a beat, the palate flaunts rich and concentrated flavors of black cherry, ripe strawberry, fennel and a kiss of Maldon salt, kept in check by the layers of acid that dominate wines from the region. 2024 Raen Royal St. Robert Cuvée Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Our Royal St. Robert bottling is dedicated to our grandfather Robert, who has been our greatest teacher on our journey in wine. This special cuvée offers a window into the rugged hills of the westerly Sonoma Coast. The wine opens to opulent aromas of rose petals, wild strawberry, savory herbs and the edge of a coastal forest nearing a springtime meadow. This is followed by red cherry, raspberry plum, blood orange marmalade, rose petals and thyme. Layers of coastal forest floor with mushroom laced foliage, rosemary, sea moss and ripe cherries add a unique depth and earthy character, while a vibrant core of red and black berries carry through the palate. The finish is lifted by spice and coastal freshness, leaving a long and youthful impression. -

We wanted to create a blend that reflects the characteristics of our Estate vineyards and is still true to our Martinelli style. 2023 Banshee Sonoma County Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- An exciting, yet friendly wine, bursting with aromas of fresh, muddled strawberry, bright cherry and pomegranate with hints of forest floor, toasted caramel and five-spice. 2023 Brewer-Clifton Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- This bottling is comprised of Pinot Noir from four vineyards within the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. 3D, Machado, Hapgood, and Perilune vineyards all contribute to the wine which exhibits a drive, richness and pedigree expressive of our special growing area coupled with the purity of fruit and firm structure which have been the trademark of Brewer-Clifton. 3D - The primary emphasis of the predominantly sandy 10 acre vineyard is chardonnay, with five clones planted. In addition to chardonnay, there is a smaller field of pinot noir planted to Swan, Pommard and 667 clones. MACHADO - 15 acre parcel on the Machado family land is located adjacent to Clos Pepe and immediately behind the Kessler-Haak vineyard. The site is marked by a gorgeous rolling terrain with sandy clay loam soils. HAPGOOD - In slightly richer soil, the vineyard is planted to the Mount Eden selection of chardonnay. The elevated clay loam content results in larger volume and a more dense palate expression. Our most recent installation, planted in 2010, is this small 2 1/2 acre section of pinot noir planted to Merry Edwards clone. CRAFT Only neutral barrels are employed. We strive for whole cluster fermentation. We farm with a focus of ripening the stems alongside the fruit, allowing the cluster to be in harmony. Working with the stems allows for wines that are structured, earthy and balanced with our beautiful Sta. Rita Hills fruit. CELLARING All of the wines are produced with the intention of aging and cellaring for at least 10 years and can easily be enjoyed after 15 years.$38.906 -

Winery Notes- On the palate, this wine is fruit-forward, featuring juicy red cherries and ripe cranberries, complemented by hints of vanilla and baking spice, derived from 10 months of aging in French oak barrels. The tannins are fine and silky, providing an elegant structure, while the bright acidity gives the wine a refreshing lift. 2023 Wayfarer WF2 Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Aromas of Bing cherry, strawberry, rose petal potpourri, violets and lilac develop in the glass. The 2022 has a freshness that can only come from a cooler growing season. The wine is creamy on the entry, with a mix of dark and tart cherry, pomegranate, licorice, brown sugar and Madagascar vanilla on the palate. Lighter in body than the Wayfarer Pinot Noirs but oh so pretty, it is a lovely wine, fresh and giving upon first opening.$49.909 -
2023 Failla Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The Vineyards represented in this bottling are a stellar depiction of quality farming, mature vines, and the distinct terroir of cool climates that are graced with the soils, fog, and ocean influence that bring Pinot Noir to life. Roughly 25% of the grapes used in this bottling are estate grown and farmed. The Pinot Noir is pressed 30% whole cluster, with native yeast fermentation. It is aged for 8 months in 15% new French oak, and 85% neutral. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered. Aromatically the wine has a floral perfume, with notes of bright red fruits and hints of wild herbs. On the palate, the wine has juicy pomegranate seeds along with a structure of finesse and elegance.$34.907
