2021 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- Uncork the character of cedar, vanilla and clove layered over a lush foundation of blackberry, black cherry and ripe raspberry. The first sip is elegant and assured. Silky tannins provide structure, while bright acidity lifts the rich fruit profile. A broad mid-palate gives way to a long, polished finish that lingers with quiet intensity. A vintage crafted for those who appreciate the art of patience and precision.$69.9024+ -

On the palate, red and dark fruits are forward and bright with fine, well-integrated tannins that gives it an unctuous mouthfeel. Lingering hints of blackberry, cocoa and toasty vanilla round out the long, lush finish. The balance of this wine leads to it drinking wonderfully now and it will continue to develop more complexity with age.$59.9024+ -

2023 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1 Liter) (Was $80)
Winery Notes- Caymus Vineyards is located in the center of the Napa Valley. Primary production is Cabernet Sauvignon grown on low-fertility soils on both the valley floor and the mountains that surround the valley. Attention to viticulture details, some dry farming, high-density plantings (with some blocks spaced as close as meter x meter), thinning of the yield, along with healthy vines and harvesting at an elevated degree of ripeness – all of these elements produce a unique and singular style of Cabernet. While the wine has sufficient tannins and structure for long-term bottle aging, Caymus Cabernet is dark and concentrated, with ripe, luxurious, fruit-driven softness that shows from the day of release.$69.9024+ -

Gloria Ferrer Sonoma Brut Carneros Sparkling Wine
Winery Notes- This Sonoma Brut sparkling wine is dominated by Pinot Noir, a stylistic decision enabling the complex aromatic and palate profile that this red-skinned grape contributes to brut cuvées. Delicate pear and floral notes are backed by toasty almond. On the palate, lively citrus, toast and apple flavors are overlaid with persistent effervescence, a creamy mid-palate and a toasty finish.$16.9011 -
2021 Chateau Montelena Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- The density and richness of this wine are teased right from the start. Pomegranate, plum and dried blackberry lead a lavish charge of ripe, dark fruit. In the midst, there’s a hint of barrel toast, first as charcoal and then as fresh wood. The aromas remain elevated, with potpourri and black pepper initially, and then concluding with fig jam and cherry tobacco. This Cabernet has all of the markers of a great Montelena wine. The palate is bursting with a dynamic and seemingly haphazard array of fruit, acid and tannin, all tied together with fresh mint and graphite. Rest assured, all of these elements will settle into place over time. There’s a beautiful, almost velvety, softness from the Merlot that rounds off most of the coarse edges and lends refinement. Best of all, this wine is approachable now but will build complexity with time in glass. The baking spices really come into focus here along with notes of earth and toasted almond. The tannins are chalky, rather than angular, and roasted hazelnut complements the fresh raspberry and black tea. This is truly an elegant, restrained, food-friendly wine.$74.9011 -

Paul Bara Réserve Brut Grand Cru Champagne
The village of Bouzy and Champagne Paul Bara are practically synonymous: this historic house boasts over 170 years of history, throughout which generation after generation of Bara has crafted celebrated Champagnes from the village's south-facing slopes. Bouzy’s vineyards enjoy Grand Cru status thanks to an exposure that favors excellent ripeness and chalky soils that provide stimulating freshness, in addition to housing the deep, cool cellars essential to aging Champagne. Pinot Noir reigns, and the Bara house style is honest to its exceptional terroir. The Brut Réserve features the rich, ripe fruit we come to expect from Bouzy–seductive, mouth-filling, dry and focused; a class act all around.$59.9022 -
2022 Thacher Working Holiday Paso Robles Rhône Blend
The “KR” on our barn is a well-known landmark of old-time Paso Robles. Our ranch includes the 1920s KR barn, outbuildings, our home, barley fields, and riparian habitat for deer, coyotes, bobcats, turkeys, and the occasional mountain lion. Since 2004, Thacher Winery, with the grasshopper label, has been hand-crafting wines grown in superb Central Coast vineyards. Our small lot production demonstrates local subtleties and terroir. Construction of the tasting room and 4,600 square foot, solar powered winery was completed in 2008, just in time for our fourth harvest of about 33 tons of premium wine grapes. Today total production is approximately 5,000 cases of low-intervention and all native ferments that are created in the vineyard.
