2023 Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru Champans
Winery Notes- Domaine Marquis d'Angerville owns 3.98 hectares in the Champans appellation, located just north of the Caillerets appellation. Two parallel plots make up our part of the appellation (11 hectares in total). They extend from the top to the bottom of the Champans climate and the hillside, thus taking advantage of all the characteristics of this remarkable terroir facing south-east, located in the centre of the Premiers Crus de Volnay. The soil is poorer and rests on a rocky limestone bank at the top of the hillside while the slope decreases towards the bottom and it becomes more clayey, stony and deeper. Historically classified as a Têtes de Cuvée de Volnay, Champans is the archetype of the great Volnay 1 er cru: finesse, fullness and length in the mouth with an extra generosity and power of its own. Depending on the vintage, it deserves 5 to 10 years of ageing to fully reveal itself, but it is generally more easily approached young than Taillepieds or Clos des Ducs.$229.903 -

2023 Bonny Doon Le Cigare Volant Monterey County Rhône Blend
Winery Notes- The fruit is carefully selected to ensure its full potential of ripeness with balanced chemistry, and as usual for Cigare, Grenache is the star of the show. As we all know, Grenache grown in relatively cool sites in coastal California has a growing season long enough for it to create the spicy, peppery quality that we love so much and expect to taste in Cigare. We included, as is our wont, some wonderful Cinsault, a rather plump and juicy grape, which was signee to a fare-thee0well, to increase the concentration of this lightly colored and structured grape. The wine was aged in stainless steel tank and bottled ten months after harvest to preserve freshness and vibrancy.$14.9024 -

2018 Sapaio Bolgheri Superiore
The estate Podere Sapaio was founded in 1999. Its 40 hectars are spread between the Councils of Castagneto Carducci and Bibbona. Grape varieties of Bordeaux origin -Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot-, which in the last fifty years have imposed themselves in the area, are grown in lands of quaternary deposits. Other grape varieties are present in small quantities. There are also some hectares of land, which are part of the estate, where Frantoio, Moraiolo and Leccino cultivars of olive trees are grown.$94.902 -
