2018 Billecart-Salmon 250th Anniversary Vintage Champagne
The 2018 Billecart-Salmon 250th Anniversary Cuvée was created to celebrate a pair of major anniversaries: the 250th year of American independence and the 200th year of the Billecart-Salmon estate. Because the United States has long been one of the house’s most important export destinations, this Champagne was conceived as a tribute to that enduring connection, made all the more meaningful by the outstanding quality of the 2018 vintage. The blend is sourced entirely from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards, combining 65% Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims with 35% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs. Only 3% of the wine was fermented in oak, while the rest was raised in stainless steel, followed by 63 months on the lees before being finished in Extra Brut style with 4.9 g/L dosage. Put simply, this is not just a commemorative release, but a Champagne with real substance: an exceptional vintage, elite vineyard sources, extended lees aging, and a restrained winemaking philosophy centered on purity and balance.$119.9024+ -
2024 Aphros Loureiro Vinho Verde Portugal
Founded in 2002, Aphros is a project designed to combine ecological and economical aspects to create true sustainability. Their belief is that nature and labor should combine in a meaningful way and they seek to capture this through Biodynamic viticulture, letting the uniqueness of the land shine through the fruit for inimitable wines. Loureiro and Vinhão have grown in these vineyards for centuries and serve as the reference point for the region. The grapes are sourced from the Lima sub-region and the vines of Casal do Paço are situated in a south facing amphitheater north of the Lima River on gentle slopes with cool Atlantic breezes. The winemaking is traditional, taking place in the basement beneath the main house. The cave is buried and naturally cool and damp. They once again straddle the line between modern and traditional character with the addition of modern stainless steel equipment and traditional open top lagars, granite stone tanks, for red wine production.$19.9012 -

2020 Niner Estates Bootjack Paso Robles Red Blend (Was $30)
Winery Notes- We hand-sorted, destemmed and grav ity fed the grapes into a combination of stainless steel tanks and one French oak tank. We fermented each varietal separately to preserve their unique characteristics and after 19 months, composed the final blend. The blend aged an additional month in barrels before it was bottled. A total of 20 months of aging with a lighter oak impact (36% new French oak) helped us retain balance and pure fruit expression. The base of this blend is made of three different varietals each of which contributes unique elements to the finished wine. Cabernet Franc adds herbal notes and tannin structure, Cabernet Sauvignon adds red fruit qualities and garnet color, and Malbec adds dark fruit characteristics and a plush, juicy mouthfeel. 2023 Domaine de Durban Beaumes-de-Venise Rouge
The town of Beaumes-de-Venise, in the heart of the southern Rhône, is best known for its ravishing dessert Muscat, a local specialty famously praised by Pliny the Elder. But this is Grenache territory, and Beaumes-de-Venise also produces delicious reds from these gentle, sunbaked slopes covered with garrigue. Although the town enjoys cru status in the same way as Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas, its red wines are generally softer and more approachable in their youth, with surprising aging potential thanks to the significantly concentrated fruit and structure. Priced far below its prestigious neighbors, Beaumes-de-Venise also represents a fabulous value. At Domaine de Durban, an ancient farm now run by the Leydier family, Grenache is joined by Syrah and a drop of Mourvèdre to create this delightful everyday red scented of herbes de Provence and ripe black cherry. Durban’s specialty is their ability year in and year out to make reds that are dense, full, rustic, and incredibly drinkable all at once. Aged in neutral oak, the 2023 vintage is deep and robust with soft and fuzzy tannins—the perfect companion to pozole, burgers, pizza, or grilled meats.$19.9016 -

2015 Billecart-Salmon Brut Le Rosé Champagne
Until recently, Billecart-Salmon had only ever released one vintage-dated Brut Rosé—its legendary Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon—crafted solely in truly exceptional years and always in extremely limited supply. But now, for just the second time in their storied history, Billecart is unveiling another vintage rosé: the extraordinary 2015 Brut Rosé. Following in the footsteps of their 2010 release, this wine represents a rare opportunity. It’s essentially a declassified version of the prestigious Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon—made with the same fruit sources and élevage—but released under the vintage rosé label because it didn’t meet the ultra-high bar for the flagship bottling. That means you’re getting near-identical pedigree and craftsmanship at nearly half the price—just $120 compared to $250! Comprising 52% Chardonnay and 48% Pinot Noir, the 2015 Brut Rosé matured for an incredible 98 months on the lees. The result is a wine that showcases Billecart’s signature finesse, vibrant red fruit, and layered complexity—all elevated by the richness and texture that only extended aging can bring. An insider’s find for Champagne lovers, this is a rare chance to experience elite quality for a fraction of the usual cost.$119.9018
