2022 Ponte De Lima Loureiro Vinho Verde (Was $17)
The 2022 Ponte De Lima Loureiro Vinho Verde offers a refreshing and vibrant tasting experience, capturing the essence of Portugal's Vinho Verde region. In the glass, it reveals a pale, straw-yellow color with a slight effervescence. On the nose, this wine is aromatic and inviting, presenting a bouquet of fresh citrus, green apple, and delicate floral notes of orange blossom and honeysuckle, intertwined with a hint of wet stone minerality. On the palate its crisp and lively, showcasing bright flavors of lemon, lime, and green pear. These citrus and orchard fruit flavors are complemented by a subtle herbaceous quality, with nuances of white peach and a touch of salinity that adds depth and complexity. The wine's natural acidity is brisk and well-balanced, enhancing its refreshing character and making it incredibly drinkable.$10.908 -
Folktale California Brut Sparkling Wine
Winery Notes- Folktale sparkling wine begins in the vineyard, early. Grapes for sparkling wine have to be picked at a lower sugar level than for our still wines, so we tend to harvest 3 weeks before we begin picking fruit for our still wines. For our first bottling of sparkling wine, we envisioned a wine that was bright, fun to drink, and food friendly. We put the blend together in a stainless steel tank and add bubbles through a forced carbonation method. This allows us to control the level of effervescence and achieve the desired texture of the wine. We targeted a softer, less aggressive style that was more like the texture of a prosseco or frizzante wine – perfect for a sunny day in Carmel Valley.$24.908 -

It then expands to a broad palate filled with apricots, lemon curd and brioche. Maintaining our signature synthesis of honeyed stone fruits polarized by lively acidity and piercing minerality gaining momentum of richness and depth on the finish. Whole cluster pressed, native primary fermentation with no malolactic fermentation, aged sur lie in a concrete egg for one year. Never fined and only lightly filtered.$21.90Out of StockOut of Stock
