More restrained on the nose than the Chassagne before it, but in no way a lighter wine. grilled almond fruit, very type Puligny – brioche bread coated with sugar. Very pungent and long-lasting on the palate, with butterscotch, caramel and some white pepper on the finish, along with some peaches. High toned acids throughout, with some rose water and menthol.
