2023 Orin Swift Mercury Head Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (Was $180)

Winery Notes- The opaque core of the 2023 Mercury Head flashes with a neon crimson rim. Mesmerizing in the glass, the wine opens with notes of blackcurrant, Amarena cherry, California chapparal and an elegant kiss of oak. The palate is effusive with hints of ripe blue fruits, blood orange, dark chocolate and rhubarb—rich and layered as the wine continues to open. Fully integrated tannins are paired with an elegant and nuanced close of blackberry preserves and licorice.

2023 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1 Liter) (Was $80)

Winery Notes- Caymus Vineyards is located in the center of the Napa Valley. Primary production is Cabernet Sauvignon grown on low-fertility soils on both the valley floor and the mountains that surround the valley. Attention to viticulture details, some dry farming, high-density plantings (with some blocks spaced as close as meter x meter), thinning of the yield, along with healthy vines and harvesting at an elevated degree of ripeness – all of these elements produce a unique and singular style of Cabernet. While the wine has sufficient tannins and structure for long-term bottle aging, Caymus Cabernet is dark and concentrated, with ripe, luxurious, fruit-driven softness that shows from the day of release.

1999 Fisher Wedding Vineyard Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon

Displaying all the mountain characteristics of Wedding Vineyard with dark blackberry fruit, forest floor, cedar and anise. Strong front of the palate with densely layered ripe tannins that lengthen the wine to a sweet mid-palate full of black fruits and finishes with velvet caramel. This is a wine that is layered with developing flavors; for this reason we highly recommend decanting this wine to reveal all of its brooding, complex secrets.
