2023 Turley Dragon Vineyard Howell Mountain Zinfandel
Winery Notes- Dragon Vineyard is an estate-farmed, certified organic vineyard. Planted at 2250 feet at one of the highest points on Howell Mountain, the vineyard sits well above the fog line and faces east, first to receive the soft morning sun. These important features, along with the rocky, red volcanic soil, make for a unique, full-bodied, powerful Zinfandel. This is often Larry’s favorite since it goes with what he most likes to cook: bold, flavorful, spice-laden meats laid over an open fire. There’s a reason Howell Mountain was the first designated sub-AVA in Napa Valley: the wines from this hallowed ridge are the most distinctive in the entire region.$59.902 -
2023 Lioco Mendocino County Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- A selection of premier Mendocino County vineyards were selected for this wine, with an emphasis on dry-farming, older vines, and sustainable viticulture. Pinot Noir clones 115, 667, 777, 2A, 838, Pommard clone, and Martini play a part in the blend. The goal was to capture the unique character of this region defined by the proximate Pacific Ocean, coastal redwoods, and river valleys.Rating(s)$24.9016 -
2023 Tablas Creek Patelin de Tablas Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Winery Notes- A pretty, savory nose of black pepper and teriyaki marinade. Lovely on the palate with black fruit and black licorice in front, leavened by plum skin acids and a finish with sweet sarsaparilla and smoky oolong tea notes. It is somehow both serious and playful and should be a great introduction for people into the category of California Rhone-style blends.$21.907 -
2020 Silvio Nardi Rosso di Montalcino
Winery Notes- Intense ruby red color. Aromas characterized by hints of ripe red fruits, and hints of spices. On the palate it is warm, soft, and full with strong but velvety integrated tannins. Good persistence.Rating(s)$29.905 -

2020 Saxum G2 Willow Creek District Rhône Blend
Winery Notes- This vineyard keeps getting stronger and stronger as the vines mature and we get a handle on taming this rugged, mountainous fruit. It’s definitely more black fruit focused than the JBV, and a little more dense and chewy, not quite as savory, but it still has a nice loamy earth side to it. I think it’s a show stopper. The tannins are remarkable but will definitely benefit from a few years of aging (as will all of our wines). A real banger.Rating(s)$194.902 -
1996 Shafer Hillside Select Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon
With more herbs, cedar and tea than its ’97 sibling, this one offers ripe aromatics and elegantly balanced fruit flavors. Uncork this vintage and you’ll find deep color in the center of the glass with a ring of brick at the edge, with a silky texture and maturing fruit, showing elements of black currant and dark spice with a long finish.Rating(s)$299.9911 -
1996 Constant Diamond Mountain Vineyard Red
Gorgeous silky texture, layers of currant, black licorice, blackberry and wild berry fruit.Rating(s)$149.991
