2021 Anthem Estate Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- The 2021 vintage in Napa Valley is widely regarded by critics as outstanding, producing wines of remarkable quality and aging potential. Red wines from this year are defined by their intensity, structure, and balance - attributes shaped by a growing season of dry, consistent weather and low yields. These conditions resulted in exceptional concentration and purity, firmly establishing 2021 as one of Napa’s top-tier vintages and a favorite of collectors. -
2021 William Harrison Rutherford Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (Was $80)
The 2021 WM Harrison Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is an exceptional value from Napa Valley’s celebrated Rutherford appellation, made from two of the estate’s three Cabernet Sauvignon blocks. The blend is driven by fruit from the older 1991-planted Cabernet block, with additional components from the 1997-planted younger block, along with Merlot and Malbec, all sourced from the 10-acre Williams estate vineyard. This wine captures the classic Rutherford character so many Cabernet lovers seek out, showing that unmistakable dusty elegance alongside impressive depth and structure. Aged for 22 months in French oak, it opens with dark, ripe aromas of plum, black cherry, and raspberry layered with notes of cocoa, nutmeg, and clove. On the palate, it is rich and textured, offering flavors of fresh blackberry, dried cherry, and a touch of vanilla bean through the finish. With supple tannins, polished structure, and the signature appeal of Clone 7 in full Rutherford style, this is a deeply satisfying Cabernet that far overdelivers for the price.$39.903 -
2021 Beaulieu Vineyard Reserve Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- A showstopper example of our western Rutherford benchland terroir. The captivating bouquet dances out of the glass pleasantly perfumed with notes of black cherry, dark plum, and wild violet. Focused, bright red berry fruits on the palate with notes of rich, dark blackcurrant, blackberry, graphite, and black licorice. Signature “Rutherford dust” tannins provide presence and grip with satisfying firmness, offering a mouth-pleasing character. A delightful fluidity is supported by a lean backbone of acidity, offering balance, tension, and finesse, all culminating in a powerful, full-bodied expression with length and persistence. This wine leaves an indelible impression epitomizing classic Rutherford nuance and elegance. Undeniably drinkable now with the potential to age exquisitely for many years to come.$64.902 -
2021 Penfolds Bin 704 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (Was $70)
Winery Notes- On the palate, this wine presents fennel/anise and black liquorice flavours that pave the way for fine yet powerful mouthcoating tannins. The weighty structure carries savoury nuances (artisanal charcuterie paired with tangy barberries) adding layers of complexity. Cherry nuances – both cherry pip tartness and white cherry subtle sweetness – play off each other elegantly. The finish is punctuated by notes of preserved salty plum, which linger long after the last sip.Rating(s)$44.9012 -
2021 CrossBarn (Paul Hobbs) Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- This wine shows deep ruby in hue with a bouquet of crushed violets, red currant, and black plum. A bounty of concentrated black fruits is featured on the palate, accompanied by dried herbs and cacao. Structured tannins provide this full-bodied wine with a unique depth along with a lively acidity that gives tension to a long, seamless finish.$49.901 -
2021 Heitz Cellar Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- The 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon bounds from the glass with Heitz’s signature pure red cherry and redcurrant flavors, accented by notes of red plum flesh, mint, underbrush, and dark cocoa. Its firm acidity and tannin, all in harmony with its plush mouthfeel, means this wine will fascinate you for decades. With Napa Valley’s average price for Cabernet Sauvignon cresting $100 these days, it’s also a phenomenal comparative value, outscoring some culty names at double the price.$69.9023 -
2021 O'Shaughnessy Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- Blended from our three Estate vineyards in arguably the three best appellations within the Napa Valley: Howell Mountain, Mt. Veeder and Oakville. Howell Mountain gives us structure and ripe red fruit, while Mt. Veeder adds an extra punch of tannins along with savory mineral driven qualities, Oakville balances out the mountains with its silky texture and pure fruit. This Cabernet Sauvignon is ruby red with an opaque center. A sweet entry of milk chocolate and fresh caramel greets the nose. The palate is lush and rich with black cherry, plum, and blueberry. Fine-grained tannins are integrated seamlessly, making this an approachable wine with a long finish that can be enjoyed now or cellared for years to come.$74.901 -
2024 Cade Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- The 2024 has aromas of pear, yellow apple, honeysuckle, white peach, mango, pineapple, guava, and tropical fruits. On the palate are flavors of lemon, green apple, Bartlett pear, grapefruit, honeydew melon, lemon custard, lemon grass, and passion fruit. The wine finishes with a vibrant acidity and a beautiful creamy texture. The addition of Viognier and the Sauvignon Musqué adds a lot of the honeysuckle and floral notes. The concrete eggs and the barrel ferments add a creamy texture to the wine, giving it more complexity and length while maintaining a great freshness and vibrancy.$34.9024+ -
2021 Freemark Abbey Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (Was $60)
Winery Notes- Our 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet is our interpretation of a quintessentially classic style. The color is deep garnet and the nose yields aromas of dark chocolate, pomegranate, cedar shavings, blackberry, and leather. The palate exhibits flavors of blueberry compote, black cherry, espresso, and cigar box with bright and juicy fruit forward sensations. The texture is rich and bold with well-structured tannins that make it approachable now and will yield great results in the cellar for decades.$49.9014 -
2021 Keenan Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is composed primarily of grapes grown on Keenan’s Spring Mountain District Estate; the remainder of the fruit was harvested from Pope Valley, a grape growing region located in the eastern portion of Napa. Keenan’s Estate Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were harvested beginning on September 7th with the final lot being picked on September 15th. After harvest, the fruit clusters were de-stemmed, then fermented for ten to fourteen days. The wine was barrel aged in thirty-three percent new French and American oak for twenty months. The blend was assembled just before bottling. The Estate grown Cabernet imparts amazing concentration and remarkable structure, while the portion of Cabernet harvested from Pope Valley adds complex aromas and a balanced mid-palate. -
2021 Chateau Montelena Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- The density and richness of this wine are teased right from the start. Pomegranate, plum and dried blackberry lead a lavish charge of ripe, dark fruit. In the midst, there’s a hint of barrel toast, first as charcoal and then as fresh wood. The aromas remain elevated, with potpourri and black pepper initially, and then concluding with fig jam and cherry tobacco. This Cabernet has all of the markers of a great Montelena wine. The palate is bursting with a dynamic and seemingly haphazard array of fruit, acid and tannin, all tied together with fresh mint and graphite. Rest assured, all of these elements will settle into place over time. There’s a beautiful, almost velvety, softness from the Merlot that rounds off most of the coarse edges and lends refinement. Best of all, this wine is approachable now but will build complexity with time in glass. The baking spices really come into focus here along with notes of earth and toasted almond. The tannins are chalky, rather than angular, and roasted hazelnut complements the fresh raspberry and black tea. This is truly an elegant, restrained, food-friendly wine.$74.9011 -
2021 Meyer Family Fluffy Billows Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- As in past vintages, we aged the 2021 Fluffy Billows in French oak barrels for just under two years, an approach that always complements the firm, cellar-friendly structure of our Oakville Cabernets. Two drought years led to a small, intense crop, deep in color. It boasts a combination of spicy cherry and cassis notes on the nose with blackberry and plum on the palate. Complex notes of cedar and cooking spice mingle elegantly with the abundant fruit. Right through its long finish, bright acidity balances the whole framework of fruit and tannin. Our ‘21 Fluffy Billows is a wine that will certainly continue to evolve in the cellar for a decade or more, but it also produced with immediate enjoyment in mind.Rating(s)$59.901 -
