Winery Notes- his wine has a beautiful, deep ruby color with nuanced aromas blending cassis, anise, cola, black cherry pie, and subtle hints of baking spices complemented with cedar and vanilla. On the palate, red and dark fruits are forward and bright with fine, well-integrated tannins that gives it an unctuous mouthfeel. Lingering hints of blackberry, cocoa and toasty vanilla round out the long, lush finish. 2022 Aperture Soil Specific Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend
Winery Notes- All of our fruit is hand harvested and brought into the winery within hours of being picked. Everything is methodically and obsessively sorted. A cold soak of 4-7 days with minimal air incorporation starts the extraction and then cool fermentations with native yeast carry out the remaining. Air and temperature are controlled throughout the 14-28 day fermentation and extended maceration is determined lot by lot when I walk the fine line of full extraction but still keep an elegant and silky texture. Wines go through malolactic fermentation in barrel and are aged (sur-lees) for 18 months. For this vintage, we crafted a distinct Bordeaux blend, composed of primarily Merlot and Malbec, with a delicately balancing of smallerinclusion of cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot, and cabernet franc. The ripe red fruit characters are structured by silky seamless tannins, showcasing an elegant density to the blend.$49.903 -

2023 Wayfarer WF2 Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Aromas of Bing cherry, strawberry, rose petal potpourri, violets and lilac develop in the glass. The 2022 has a freshness that can only come from a cooler growing season. The wine is creamy on the entry, with a mix of dark and tart cherry, pomegranate, licorice, brown sugar and Madagascar vanilla on the palate. Lighter in body than the Wayfarer Pinot Noirs but oh so pretty, it is a lovely wine, fresh and giving upon first opening.$49.909 -
2018 Heitz Cellar Lot C-91 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- The origin of Lot C-91 began in the fall of 1969 when Joe Heitz created this one-off cuvée, which was very normal in those days, as a more premium version of his already iconic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon bottling. Joe envisioned Lot C-91 as a greater step up in quality from the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, with a higher quality of fruit sourcing, coming exclusively from the sought-after single vineyards of Heitz Cellar.$94.902 -
2022 Preston Dry Creek Petite Sirah
Winery Notes- Dark and brooding but light on its feet, the Petite Sirah immediately stands out in Preston lineup of red wines. The wine brings waves of dark fruits: mulberry, blackberry jam, some plum and even carob; layered with notes of graphite, vanilla, and a distant hint of floral perfume (lilacs, violets) on the nose. Full-bodied and lush in the mouth, it closes with a long, pure finish filled with fine-grained, dense Petite Sirah tannin.$29.907 -
2022 Brewer-Clifton Machado Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Looking to secure a mirror-image sister ranch to our 3D Vineyard, we began working with the Machado family in the winter of 2008. Our 15 acre parcel on their land is located adjacent to Clos Pepe and immediately behind the Kessler-Haak Vineyard. The site is marked by a gorgeous rolling terrain with sandy loam soils. At Machado, the majority of the planting is dedicated to pinot noir with equal amounts of such selections as Pommard, Merry Edwards, Mount Eden, and 459. In addition to pinot noir, we also planted a small, two-acre plot in the sandiest portion of the field to the Sweeney Canyon selection of chardonnay.$84.9017 -
2018 Immortal Slope Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon
Winery Notes- Our 2018 Slope is rich with dark brambly fruit framed by sweet spices, coffee, and chocolate, all carried on a supple yet dense palate. As the wine opens, it reveals layers of flavor: blackberry, blueberry, lavender, and spice cake, completed by black plum, sweet tobacco, black tea, Muscovado sugar, and espresso. While the mountainside tannins provide a dense framework to carry the wine, they are well-ripened, supple, and relax into velvet with decanting. Accessible in its youth, it will continue to evolve for decades.$74.901 -
