2023 Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru Champans
Winery Notes- Domaine Marquis d'Angerville owns 3.98 hectares in the Champans appellation, located just north of the Caillerets appellation. Two parallel plots make up our part of the appellation (11 hectares in total). They extend from the top to the bottom of the Champans climate and the hillside, thus taking advantage of all the characteristics of this remarkable terroir facing south-east, located in the centre of the Premiers Crus de Volnay. The soil is poorer and rests on a rocky limestone bank at the top of the hillside while the slope decreases towards the bottom and it becomes more clayey, stony and deeper. Historically classified as a Têtes de Cuvée de Volnay, Champans is the archetype of the great Volnay 1 er cru: finesse, fullness and length in the mouth with an extra generosity and power of its own. Depending on the vintage, it deserves 5 to 10 years of ageing to fully reveal itself, but it is generally more easily approached young than Taillepieds or Clos des Ducs.$229.903 -
2023 La Storia (Trentadue) Alexander Valley Petite Sirah
Winery Notes- Our La Storia Petite Sirah is as usually impressive and imposing with very dark, opaque color, beautiful nose of concentrated blue berries and blackberries that leads to a full body mouth feel with engagingly soft (for Petite Sirah) tannins. After short aeration, the nose opens with the addition of cocoa, violets, slight earthiness, and graphite followed by brown sugar and a touch of vanilla-contribution of the new oak barrels. Overall, the aromas are of fresh dark fruit and very attractive. Longevity, if stored properly, is one of the virtues of this variety and it will give you the most enjoyment in 5-8 years.$29.9010 -

2023 Dutton Goldfield Dutton Ranch Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- On the nose, it reveals aromas of ripe red cherry, wild raspberry and rose petal, balanced by subtle floral notes of violet. There’s also a delicate spice nuance, reminiscent of baking spices like cinnamon and clove, adding layers of intrigue. On the palate, this Pinot Noir is silky and graceful, with a medium-bodied structure that’s both elegant and expressive. Juicy flavors of cherry, berry, pomegranate, and tea leaf take center stage, accented by a soft, underlying acidity that provides freshness and lift. The finish is long and smooth, with refined tannins that impart a velvety mouthfeel and a lingering hint of spice and crushed rose petals. 2023 Orin Swift Blank Stare Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- An alluring pale, white gold shimmers in the glass with inviting aromas of white guava, gooseberries, freshly mown grass , kaffir lime and lemongrass. The entry of the 2023 Blank Stare is dominated by mouthwatering acidity and hints of lemon-lime sorbet, starfruit, kiwi and grapefruit rind.
