2021 Stags' Leap Winery Napa Valley Petite Sirah

Winery Notes- Captivates with a fragrant nose of bramble berry fruit, freshly baked blackberry pie, boysenberry, black plum, and black cherry cobbler, with hints of graham cracker crust, lifted lavender, and thyme. Voluptuous, vibrant, and lithe with juicy acidity that accentuates the abundant dark berry fruit. Sinewy, firm tannins lend a viscous texture, while the long and punchy finish leaves a lasting impression. Balanced and beautiful, this Petite Sirah shows restraint and elegance, with subtle oak integration.

2022 Benovia Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (Was $55)

Winery Notes- The 2022 vintage provided the raw materials to produce a Russian River Valley Pinot Noir with vibrant fruit and exotic spice aromas and layered texture. Aromas are dominated by red fruit tones of Queen Anne Cherry and Pomegranate, while black fruits dominate on the palate. The vibrant aromas expand and give way to red plum, black cherry, and complex baking spices. On the palate the wine has integrated acidi ty and fine tannins that should allow for mid-term cellaring. As always, the wine was bottled without fining or filtration.

2022 Gary Farrell Russian River Selection Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Winery Notes- Seductive aromas of Luxardo cherries intertwined with rose petals, fresh fennel, dark berry preserves, and a hint of savory earth. The youthful yet complex palate offers juicy flavors of sour cherries, blood orange, wild raspberries and with a dollop of tangy tamarind. Fine-grained tannins are balanced by firm acidity, creating a full-bodied texture, lending to an incredibly long, spicy finish.

Winery Notes- The style of vintage 2022 once more reveals an aromatic profile of high maturity, comparable to vintage 2019, but with fruit that is even more present. The wines are both ample and rich, with lovely balance of acidity, silky tannins and explosive fruit. The whole range of wines already offers immediate tasting pleasure and the higher appellations will gain from patience over some years in cellar.
