2023 Road 31 Napa Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Four plots across two vineyards contributed to this wine. From the Green Island, at the southern mouth of the Napa River, where the water spills into the San Pablo/San Francisco Bay, comes the prettiness of clone 115 and power of clone 667. Stanly Ranch, in Carneros just northwest across the Napa River from Green Island, provides clone 114 structure and robustness of clone 777. What a wine this 2021 Road 31 Napa Valley Pinot Noir is. Imagine Harry Potter, Gal Gadot, Elvis (the early days, not the donut-eating-sequin-wings years), and a 1962 Ferrari GTO all wrapped together in velour. Pull the cork and you may find yourself suddenly reciting Shakespearean sonnets from memory, understanding string theory, and feeling an inexplicable desire — and capability — to dance the tango like a blind Al Pacino. 2021 Etude Grace Benoist Ranch Carneros Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- This dark ruby-red Pinot Noir is bright and juicy. Fragrant aromas of red cherry, cranberry, and cassis sit alongside lifted dusty rose and tobacco leaf, while crushed stone and minerality support the vibrant fruit. On the palate, fresh, mouthwatering acidity accompanies a core of fresh red berries and dried cherry, while perfumed cedar, white pepper spice, caramel, and toasty vanilla oak come through as a tribute to the oak aging. Secondary notes of delicate cherry blossom, wild violet, dried thyme, and bay laurel are also present. The medium body supports soft tannins with a firm grip. 2021 Schramsberg North Coast Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine
Winery Notes- Schramsberg Brut Rosé is fruitful, complex and dry, making it both versatile with food and delicious by itself as an apéritif. The character of the wine is most strongly influenced by bright, flavorful Pinot Noir grown along Californias North coast from southern Mendocino County to northern Marin County. A few small lots of Pinot Noir are fermented in contact with their skins to add depth and subtle color to this vibrant sparkling wine. Chardonnay gives spice, structure and length on the palate. Hand picking, careful handling and gentle pressing produce a wine of delicacy, aromatic purity and depth. Following the fall harvest and fermentation of the base wines, extensive tasting trials are carried out in the spring to create a polished blend reflective of the vintage. The finished blend undergoes a second fermentation in bottle before aging on its yeast lees for about two years, just enough to achieve refined effervescence and toastiness without diminishing its refreshing, vibrant appeal. Enjoy this rich, delicious sparkler on almost any occasion: at your favorite restaurant, a special dinner at home, at a beach picnic or a backyard barbecue. A very versatile wine; try it with sushi, salmon, rock shrimp, roast chicken, BBQ ribs, caprese and Panzanella salads, red berry tarts, and an array of cheeses, charcuterie, nuts and fresh fruit. The 2020 growing season was preceded by a dry, mild winter. Bud break began earlier than normal and crop yields were light, which led to an early harvest start. Cool and moderate summer conditions gave way to heat spells and forest fires through August and September. 2021 Folktale The Lion For Real Skin Fermented Monterey County White Wine (Orange Wine)
Winery Notes- At it’s core, this is a skin fermented white wine thatis a blend of every vintage since 2017. We’re making this in a Solera-style, where each year we blend in a fresh, young vintage giving the wine vibrancy and an aromatic boost. But, on the flipside, having a significant aged portion allows for the wine to express itself in a more mature way, blending itself beautifully into many food pairings you might throw at it. It’s more diverse than you think, and being un-fined and un-filtered means that you’re tasting the wine in it’s natural setting- just as Mother Nature (and we) intended. Components from the 2021 portion consisted predominantly of Chardonnay from Massa Estatein Carmel Valley – an organically farmed vineyard in the Santa Lucia Mountains. The grapes were destemmed and natively fermented in small open top tanks. Pressing in our basket press took place once the fermentations wrapped up and and the wine was racked to neutral French oak to age. Blending of the 2021 portion and the solera took place just before bottling in June 2022.$24.903 -

Winery Notes- Pétillant Natural is a natural sparkling wine using the ancestral method. Bottled just before the primary fermentation finishes, the natural effervescence and sediment are the evidence of things finishing in the bottle. The wine is bright, with notes of green apple, banana cream pie, grapefruit blossom, and undertones of guava and pineapple. 2021 Chosen Family Salty Goats Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (Was $75)
Winery Notes- This lovely wine is a two-vineyard Pinot Noir blend from Salty Goat's Fort Ross-Seaview and Annapolis vineyards. Both sites were planted in the early 2000s and farmed organically. They are located only four miles from the Pacific Ocean at over 900 ft elevation. With aromatics of rose petals, lavender, pine, and spice notes, the wine is pure and elegant on the palate and leaves you wanting more.$54.908
