2024 Occidental Freestone-Occidental Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The 2024 Freestone-Occidental wine shares the same winemaking techniques as our vineyard designated pinot noirs. Crystalline, bright, mouthwatering, and a bit salty with a saline mineral finish, the 2024 Freestone-Occidental evokes juicy red berries and a near perfect balance of finesse and energy – of bright, primary red fruits and saline elements. It conveys outstanding precision and lift in the mouth and finishes vibrant and long with beautifully sculpted tannins. Its modest alcohol (13%) makes this wine a perfect complement to any meal. It is delicious now and will develop nicely in bottle.Rating(s)$74.9020 -
2024 Flowers Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Winery Notes- This Chardonnay is energetic and bright balancing mouthwatering acidity, fresh citrus, and an elegant, finely-woven texture with exceptional purity and precision. Meyer lemon and just-ripe mandarin orange mingle with pithy herbaceous notes and a fine mist of green citrus oil. On the palate, savory preserved lemon and a hint of spice component with the backbone of persistent acidity. Briny ocean spray minerality lifts the tightly-knot texture, which expands across the mouth for a vibrant finish.Rating(s)$39.9013 -
2021 J. Christopher Basalte Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Produced in Oregon’s Northern Willamette Valley, the range of J. Christopher Wines follows a patient winemaking approach that clearly expresses the unique character of their cool-climate roots. Owned by the renowned Mosel winegrower, Ernst “Erni” Loosen (of Dr. Loosen), the wines are hand-crafted in small lots and are sourced from some of the finest sustainably-managed vineyards in the area. The goal of J. Christopher Wines is to showcase the Old World finesse and elegance that Erni has always pursued in his German wines. As he puts it, “We want to make wines that have a fine balance of fruit, acidity and texture, while expressing their individual origins.” The key to this is unhurried winemaking, which allows the wines to evolve at their own pace, with a minimum of intervention.$25.9017 -
2024 Arterberry Maresh Dundee Hills Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Red currant, pomegranate, black cherry, harmonious, expansive and long. Balances fruit, acidity and tannins perfectly.Rating(s)$29.903 -
2024 Ken Wright Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- A vibrant core of ripe cherry and blueberry is layered with notes of cherry syrup, kirsch, sandalwood, cinnamon, and a touch of cocoa nib. The palate is broad and plush, with smooth, integrated tannins and a creamy, ripe fruit finish.Rating(s)$24.9016 -
2024 Cristom Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is a blend of barrels from benchmark vineyards across the region, including the Cristom Estate. Crafted with the same meticulous care as our Mt. Jefferson Cuvée and single-vineyard Pinot Noirs, this cuvée is designed to represent the broader Willamette Valley AVA. It offers a compelling expression of the vintage—elegant, balanced, and unmistakably Cristom—at a remarkable value.$29.907 -
2024 Roserock (Drouhin) Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The 2024 Roserock Pinot Noir captures the purity and tension of our Eola–Amity Hills estate. Aromas of black cherry, violet, and raspberry rise from the glass, layered with notes of dried herbs, coffee, and stony earth. On the palate, it’s vibrant and poised, with bright acidity carrying flavors of strawberry, plum, and subtle spice. The texture is fine and supple, unfolding toward a long, graceful finish that conveys the youth and promise of this wine.Rating(s)$34.9010 -
2021 Roederer Estate Clark Road Vineyard Anderson Valley Brut Sparkling Wine
Winery Notes- Clark Road Vineyard is a handmade bottling. This vineyard is on the cool west side of Anderson Valley, where Pinot Noir thrives. We are intimately familiar with this site, which we have been farming since 1999. During those years, we have learned that we can leave the fruit on the vine longer than other sites, and as we allow it to ripen, it develops the juicy acidity so essential to top-quality sparkling wine. Clark Road was partially fermented in casks (7%) and with a small amount of reserve wine aged in casks (4.8%) to give the Roederer Estate family touch. It was disgorged in December 2024 after 30 months on the yeast.$44.9018 -
2021 Etude Fiddlestix Vineyard Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (Was $60)
Winery Notes- In the heart of Sta. Rita Hills, Fiddlestix Vineyard was deliberately planted for Pinot Noir and the alluring varietal remains not only the vineyard’s, but the appellation’s “forte”. Comprised of the finest blocks of the vintage, Etude Forté is a limited bottling that best exemplifies the characteristics of Fiddlestix Vineyard: dense concentration of fruit flavors, natural balance, and vibrant acidity.$39.9021 -
2021 Heitz Cellar Quartz Creek Oak Knoll District Chardonnay (Was $85)
Winery Notes- In the early 1960s, Joe and Alice Heitz envisioned crafting the most distinguished Chardonnay in Napa Valley. They learned under legends like Fred and Eleanor McCrea from Stony Hill Vineyard up on Spring Mountain. With those ambitious goals in mind, we carry on their legacy through the expression of the Quartz Creek Vineyard Chardonnay. Situated at the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains and blanketed by the morning fog from the Petaluma Gap, this site continues to produce our most elegant and refined expression of Chardonnay. Always sustainably farmed and vinified in the classic style to evoke the purest characteristics of the land where the grapes are grown.Rating(s)$49.904 -
2024 Massican Hyde Vineyard Napa Valley Chardonnay
Winery Notes- We are proud to source the Chardonnay for this wine from Hyde, one of California's most famous and historic Chardonnay vineyards, founded by Larry Hyde in Carneros in 1979. Tucked away in the southern part of Napa Valley, the entire estate is a gorgeous expanse of rolling hills with southeast exposure and saline morning fog. The parcels of Musque clone Chardonnay and old Wente that make up this bottling were planted between 1979 and 1992. This wine was fermented and aged in 100% new French oak, then bottled as this single-vineyard wine.Rating(s)$44.904 -
2021 Domaine Eden Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay
Winery Notes- All of the Chardonnay is essentially estate grown at Mount Eden or at Domaine Eden. Prior to bottling the winemaking team tastes through all of the Chardonnay barrels and selects for different personalities. The Domaine Eden Chardonnay is highlighted by forward fruit, earlier drinkability and obvious hedonism and is usually composed of 60% Mount Eden and 40% Domaine Eden fruit but it varies slightly by vintage. To preserve the terroir of these special sights the same principles apply: fermentation in Burgundy barrels (50% new), use of natural yeasts, malolactic fermentation and aging sur-lie for nine months. As one would expect, this Chardonnay exhibits classic Mount Eden Burgundian style with detailed aromas and flavors of citrus fruit, anise, dill and earth. More open in personality than the Estate at the same age, yet with all the length of the flagship.$29.908 -
2021 Hitching Post Highliner Sideways 20 Year Anniversary Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
Rating:★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Winery Notes- We selected our flagship wine for this commemorative bottling. “Highliner” is an assemblage of only the best lots of all the different Pinot Noirs we make each vintage. Consequently, it earns consistent high praise. The fruit for 2021 Highliner came from 5 different vineyards with the majority sourced from the iconic Sanford & Benedict Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills appellation. All vineyards and clones are harvested and produced separately using traditional burgundian techniques. 20 months barrel age in French oak along with masterful blending, brought all the elements to a harmonious whole. "We enjoy making Highliner the most of any of our wines,” states Frank Ostini. “Utilizing the different flavors and textures from all of these vineyards creates a complex and balanced wine that plays to the many keys of Pinot Noir. The 2021 vintage is the best vintage of the 2000s to date.” The moniker “Highliner” refers to the best fishermen in the fleet and references Gray Hartley’s nearly 30 years in the fishing industry prior to winemaking. Highliner Pinot Noir is meant to be the “best of the fleet” of Hitching Post wines.Rating(s)$33.907 -
2021 La Follette Los Primeros Sonoma County Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- For our 2021 Los Primeros Pinot Noir we blended both declassified barrels from some of our top single vineyard wines along with contracted sources chosen by the winemaking team for specific aroma and flavor profiles. Layered into this are blending components from a handful of truly elite Sonoma Coast producers. Visually, the wine is a light ruby which fades to delicate pink with a hint of brick red. By sight alone one would think this to be Côte de Beaune rather than California. But the nose has classic Sonoma cherry cola nut and ripe raspberry with bacon fat, sage, white button mushroom and fall leaves. On the palate, the wine is on the lighter side of medium body and bursts with black cherry and pomegranate. This initial fruit is followed by a brace of acidity with tons of spice followed by black pepper, paprika, sage, tomato leaf and hints of oyster shell.$27.905 -
2021 Argyle Nuthouse Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- A classically Eola-Amity Hills blend telling the perfect story of our estate vineyards in this AVA, this Nuthouse Pinot Noir is brooding with crunchy cassis and deep black raspberry notes. Its mouthwatering acidity mellows the textured tannins and adds a layer of depth, personality and longevity.$49.908 -
2021 Lingua Franca AVNI Willamette Valley Chardonnay
Rating:★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Winery Notes- The aroma is complex with layers of mineral, citrus, white flowers and gunflint. On the palate the wine is balanced, vibrant and racy with a long finish. The natural acidity of the region is rounded by labor-intensive barrel fermentation and aging. Avni 2021 has nuances of lemon peel, green apple, fresh herbs, and a softer edge of pear and vanilla blossom in the background.Rating(s)$36.9010
