2021 J. Christopher Basalte Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Produced in Oregon’s Northern Willamette Valley, the range of J. Christopher Wines follows a patient winemaking approach that clearly expresses the unique character of their cool-climate roots. Owned by the renowned Mosel winegrower, Ernst “Erni” Loosen (of Dr. Loosen), the wines are hand-crafted in small lots and are sourced from some of the finest sustainably-managed vineyards in the area. The goal of J. Christopher Wines is to showcase the Old World finesse and elegance that Erni has always pursued in his German wines. As he puts it, “We want to make wines that have a fine balance of fruit, acidity and texture, while expressing their individual origins.” The key to this is unhurried winemaking, which allows the wines to evolve at their own pace, with a minimum of intervention.$25.9017 -

Winery Notes- Our usually low-key winemaker, Erin, began his 2024 reflections with "what a vintage!" The more you hear about vintage '24, the more you'll hear about its beautiful, remarkable balance. Even in our humbly priced 2024 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, there's a magical interplay of pure, succulent fruit with vivid freshness. As we continue to open bottles and get to know this young Pinot, we find it glows with delicious energy—flavorfully generous with black cherries, plums, and raspberries, whispers of Italian herbs and purple flowers, all while staying cool, vibrant, and buoyantly silky. We've been honored to have previous vintages of our Willamette Valley Pinot Noir referred to as America's best value Pinot Noir. Without drinking too much of our own Kool-Aid, we confidently submit 2024 as a standout among the last two decades of this bottling. Tasted blind by the owner of one of our distribution partners, his educated guess was expensive Burgundy. Although the Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is our least expensive and largest production Pinot Noir, we put just as much of ourselves into it as our top wines, drawing from many of the same vineyards: Mahonia, Sojeau, Koosah, Cortell Rose, Illahe, Prophet, Jubilee, Keeler, and our own Torres Hill. We ferment in small lots and age in French oak barrels—in the 2024 vintage, the Willamette Valley Pinot Noir was aged for a full year, which helped create an especially cohesive and refined blend.$22.9012 -

Winery Notes- Pale, green-tinged yellow. Bright and sharply focused on the nose, displaying incisive Meyer lemon, honeysuckle, quinine and mineral scents, along with a hint of ginger in the background. Dry, taut and light on its feet, offering intense, mineral-laced citrus and orchard fruit flavors that show no excess weight. 2024 Our Lady of Guadalupe Acolytes Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The 2024 Acolytes Pinot Noir pours a dark crimson core with a vivid ruby rim that opens with aromatic notes of black cherry, raspberry bramble, wild strawberry, bay leaf and potting soil. Energetic from entry, the palate is rife with red and blue fruits framed by an elegant structure of soft tannin. 2024 CrossBarn (Paul Hobbs) Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Winery Notes- Luminescent pale gold in color, this vibrant chardonnay jumps out of the glass with fresh aromas of white peach and honeydew melon brightened by notes of key lime zest and night blooming jasmine. On the palate, enticing layers of nectarine and fresh orange blossom unfold alongside a whisper of sea spray, with a soft, rounded midpalate lifted by an elegant ribbon of limestone minerality. 2024 Ameztoi Getariako Txakolina
Ameztoi is one of the top producers of Getariako Txakolina. They own 20 hectares of vines in the best location. From the vineyards one can see the town of St. Sebastian and understand the influence of the Atlantic Ocean on local viticulture. Made from the indigenous grape varieties of Hondarribi Zuri and its red companion Hondarribi Beltza. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and bottled with residual carbonic acid that gives the wine its natural spritz.$23.9012 -

#32 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2025 Winery Notes- Ribolla Gialla 42%, Tocai Friulano 35%, Chardonnay 23%, Pinot Bianco 6%. Our flagship white wine blend is sourced from small vineyards around Napa and Sonoma. The four grape varietals, Tocai Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Chardonnay, and Pinot Bianco, are harvested separately and fermented independently in French oak and stainless steel tanks until blending six weeks before bottling. The Tocai, Ribolla, and Pinot Bianco build the aroma and flavor profile of the wine, while the Chardonnay adds to the wine’s structure.
