2022 Benovia Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (Was $55)
Winery Notes- The 2022 vintage provided the raw materials to produce a Russian River Valley Pinot Noir with vibrant fruit and exotic spice aromas and layered texture. Aromas are dominated by red fruit tones of Queen Anne Cherry and Pomegranate, while black fruits dominate on the palate. The vibrant aromas expand and give way to red plum, black cherry, and complex baking spices. On the palate the wine has integrated acidi ty and fine tannins that should allow for mid-term cellaring. As always, the wine was bottled without fining or filtration.$29.909 -

Winery Notes- Our Sauvignon Blanc captures the exotic, vibrant and complex fruit character of our estate-grown grapes. The vineyards are ideally situated to take advantage of soil changes, different aspects, and exposures to sun and wind. In the winery, we preserve the distinctive aromatics of the grapes by minimizing exposure to air and fermenting with native and cultured yeast in a combination of stainless steel and neutral French oak. Winery Notes- The small clusters of the 2022 vintage allowed us to make Chardonnays with appealing intensity, balance, and nuance. Our Sonoma Coast Chardonnay showcases three of the top vineyards in the region – Sangiacomo, Durell, and Gap’s Crown – with the goal of creating a cuvée that illustrates the varietal’s exceptional character across the region. We picked and fermented each component of this blend separately and aged them all for 11 months in 30% new French oak barrels. The resulting blend offers compelling new world aromas with fresh acidity and focus, reminiscent of the old world.$29.903 -

2022 Kistler Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- Our approach to Pinot Noir is very similar to Chardonnay but we have two clones. For the last 25 years we’ve been working on selecting which of the two we preferred and we finally came to the conclusion that the answer was both. We’ve been planting our newer Pinot Noir Vineyards with a field mix of the two selections of late, giving deference to neither and laying the groundwork for our next generation of Pinot Noirs to be as transparent to site, and their relativity to each other, as are our Chardonnays. Both selections are marked by very low yields, small berries, great concentration and color in the fruit and a propensity to hold their natural acids during ripening.$79.905 -

Winery Notes- The 2022 offering is a collection of twenty three single-vineyard quality sites that could all be bottled as single source bottlings; six blocks of Dutton Ranch, various blocks of Sanchietti Vineyard, Gap’s Crown Vineyard, Zio Tony Ranch, Parmelee-Hill Vineyard, Alder Springs and Durell Vineyard. Fresh fruit abounds in this bottling, with aromas of granny smith apple, orange spritz and bosque pear caressing the senses. Succulent acidity along with a wet rock minerality bestows elegance on the palate and makes this a wine to refresh the spirit on a warm summer day.$26.9024+ -
2022 Sojourn Wohler Vineyard Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- A warm 2022 summer brought one of the earliest harvests on record in the Sonoma Coast, with a September heat wave influencing some picking decisions. Cooler pockets of the Sonoma Coast fared well through the heat and the resulting wines offer depth and finesse. Yields were miniscule, with many vineyards breaking records on the low side for cluster weights. The resulting wines have concentrated flavors with tension and length. In 2022 we harvested Wohler Vineyard in multiple passes, fermenting each block separately. We also co-fermented small portions of the steepest ends of the clone 828 and 667 blocks. This lot formed the foundation of the 2022 blend. Clones 667 and 828 provided rich fruit and density while the Wädenswil 2A component added earthy notes and structure.$54.905 -

2023 Orin Swift Blank Stare Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Winery Notes- An alluring pale, white gold shimmers in the glass with inviting aromas of white guava, gooseberries, freshly mown grass , kaffir lime and lemongrass. The entry of the 2023 Blank Stare is dominated by mouthwatering acidity and hints of lemon-lime sorbet, starfruit, kiwi and grapefruit rind. A touch of crème fraiche as the palate transitions to a close is met with bright notes of key lime pie and pointed, satiating acidity.$29.909 -
2022 La Follette Los Primeros Sonoma County Chardonnay
Winery Notes- Sonoma County is emerging as a top spot for Chardonnays to pair with food. With a much larger Diurnal Swing than our neighbors to the East, Sonoma Chardonnays tend to be more “European” in style with racy acid and more stone fruit flavors like white peach and apricot. This wine is a blend of both declassified barrels from some of our top single vineyard sites along with contracted sources picked by the winemaking team for specific flavor profiles. A pale yellow color with notes of star jasmine, Bartlett pear and star fruit on the nose. Faint hints of vanilla, toasted marshmallow and grilled lemon linger in the background. In the mouth the pear, star fruit and white flowers persist with the addition of Fuji apple, persimmon with a zippy acidity. Pairs well with mild cheeses and seafood dishes like shrimp scampi or macadamia crusted halibut.$24.9014
