2024 Occidental Freestone-Occidental Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Winery Notes- The 2024 Freestone-Occidental wine shares the same winemaking techniques as our vineyard designated pinot noirs. Crystalline, bright, mouthwatering, and a bit salty with a saline mineral finish, the 2024 Freestone-Occidental evokes juicy red berries and a near perfect balance of finesse and energy – of bright, primary red fruits and saline elements. It conveys outstanding precision and lift in the mouth and finishes vibrant and long with beautifully sculpted tannins. Its modest alcohol (13%) makes this wine a perfect complement to any meal. 2022 Benovia Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (Was $55)
Winery Notes- The 2022 vintage provided the raw materials to produce a Russian River Valley Pinot Noir with vibrant fruit and exotic spice aromas and layered texture. Aromas are dominated by red fruit tones of Queen Anne Cherry and Pomegranate, while black fruits dominate on the palate. The vibrant aromas expand and give way to red plum, black cherry, and complex baking spices. On the palate the wine has integrated acidi ty and fine tannins that should allow for mid-term cellaring. As always, the wine was bottled without fining or filtration.$29.909 -
