2024 Avignonesi Rosso Di Montepulciano
Winery Notes- With its abundant, upfront fruit and a bright acidity Avignonesi’s Rosso di Montepulciano is a typical example of Sangiovese from Tuscany. The Netflix of reds, that surprises you and calls you back for more for its great drinkability. The Rosso di Montepulciano has a ruby red colour highlighted by purple reflections. In the nose it opens with notes of raspberry, strawberry and blackberry that combine with aromas of sweet spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate it is pleasant and fresh, with a good acidity. Ameztoi is one of the top producers of Getariako Txakolina. They own 20 hectares of vines in the best location. From the vineyards one can see the town of St. Sebastian and understand the influence of the Atlantic Ocean on local viticulture. Our flagship white wine blend is sourced from small vineyards around Napa and Sonoma. The four grape varietals, Tocai Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Chardonnay, and Pinot Bianco, are harvested separately and fermented independently in French oak and stainless steel tanks until blending six weeks before bottling. The Tocai, Ribolla, and Pinot Bianco build the aroma and flavor profile of the wine, while the Chardonnay adds to the wine’s structure. 2024 Tibaldi Favorita Langhe
Winery Notes- There are two vineyards located in the municipality of Pocapaglia and Santa Vittoria d’Alba. South, Southwest exposure. The grapes are selected and hand picked. Fermentation in each individual vineyard takes place in separate tanks at a controlled temperature of 14-15 degrees celsius to preserve all of the varietal aromas. Subsequently, the different masses are blended to obtain a single wine that matures several months sur lie in order to increase structure and aromatic complexity.$25.908 -
2024 Corte Sant'Alda Soave
Winery Notes- Marinella Camerani is a woman ahead of her time. In the mid-1980s when she took over the family vineyard holdings and decided to begin farming and producing organically her Venetian industry counterparts were flabbergasted. Still today the Venetian old guard shuns this idea of organic production leaving Marinella and a handful of others as the only Biodynamic certified farms producing DOCG wines in the Veneto. She planted her first vineyard with Guyot training system, the Macie vineyard at 4,500 plants per hectare. Today the winery tends 13 distinctive vineyard plots, all Biodynamic certified with vine densities ranging from 4,500 – 9,200 plants per hectare.$24.9023 -
2024 Vigne Surrau Branu Vermentino di Gallura
Winery Notes- Branu comes from the Spanish word Verano that was incorporated into the Sardinian language to mean Spring. As the meaning suggests, Branu is a wine with freshness at its core. Fermentation, vinification and maturation take place in stainless-steel tanks and the wine is bottled at the beginning of the next year. Fresh and crisp, the palate is a mix of citrus, white pepper, green apple and floral notes with salty mineral undertones and just a bitter hint of almond. It is one of the most successful wines made at Surrau and now a benchmark for the Vermentino di Gallura category.$24.904
